We had a very warm welcome from Yvonne, Matt & their friendly dog Daisy. We had a lovely stay at their cute cottage with a beautiful mountain view. It's a perfect stay for a couple & a pooch! Very peaceful & relaxing. We also enjoyed the spa bath & the delicious breakfast baskets!

Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mr. Brett’s Airbnb! The place was absolutely stunning – peaceful, idyllic, and full of character. Every corner of the home felt special and unique, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Mr. Brett himself was an amazing host. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, while also giving us the privacy to truly unwind and enjoy the space. His warm hospitality really made the experience that much more special. We are already planning our next visit and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a host who truly cares!

This place was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect location and what an amazing cottage we stayed in for the night. They were also very understanding, allowing us to check out later for an additional $50. The breakfast was that was including in price was really good. Although the only thing that got me what that I could see and hear chickens yet the eggs in the fridge that are provided were store brought same as the loaf of bread that was put into a clear plastic bag but other then that I highly recommend this place

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

The cottage was very relaxing, private and romantic. We loved the spa bath and the space as a whole. Was walking distance to the shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. Will definitely be back to check out their other cottages as well.

We all loved our stay at the cottage. It was extremely beautiful and clean inside. The expansive gardens were also such a nice place to relax and wander about. We were all very comfortable in the cottage and truly felt like a home away from home. Stacey was also a very responsive host and was more than accommodating with a last minute request from us which made our stay beyond perfect!!

Shaun’s place was very lovely, very homely and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable, we had the best sleep. We loved the outside deck where we could sit and read and in the afternoon sat on the balcony looking at the view. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back

Fabulous house, exactly as described. Everything so close to walk to in town. Set back one street so quiet. House was perfect for 2 families or girls weekend away. Had everything you needed and much more. Thankyou for our stay. Very hot weekend so great it had air conditioning. Will have to return in winter as fire place looks great too. Healesville has so many cool places.

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

Exceptional cottage. We loved our weekend! The cottage is better than the photos. The garden (front and back) is stunning and lots of wildlife and very secure for dogs. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. Great location - walking distance to Healesville shops and a short drive to so many wineries. Paul and Judith were great hosts and their property is GREAT value for money.

I loved stating in this beautiful cottage at Tara Rise surrounded by he serene gardens resembling a Botanical garden with so many fruit trees and varieties of plants. If you're lucky, as I was to enjoy the delicious grapefruit and oranges from he garden. The cottage had everything I needed including a wonderful fireplace. My stay was very relaxing and rejuvenating, thank you Siobhan

I stayed for 5 days with my two kids aged 5 and 4. Can’t recommend this place strongly enough. Between the surrounding beauty of the area and the tranquility of the house, we had an amazing week. Kids loved all the play equipment outside and there was loads of space for them to ride their bikes also. Would love to come back in winter to light the fire and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere again.

The Shack was delightful. Had all necessary home items. Compostable toilet worked well, no bad smells at all. Was weird not having to flush... Large enclosed back yard for pets, which was great. Close to town, Redwood Forest, La la falls & other sights. Very peaceful & relaxing.

We had a wonderful mid-week mini break, Warburton is an undiscovered gem, beautiful and breathtaking surroundings full of history. We did a lot of exploring and Kookaburra Cottage was a perfect starting point for all of our adventures. The Alpine Hotel is just a short stroll away, coffee shops and other amenities are close by. Kookaburra Cottage was exactly as described, as wonderfully charming cottage that has it all. Alex you have been proactive and all my questions were answered within 15 minutes. We will be back.

Our stay at Victoria and Wayne’s place was wonderful. They thought of everything - breakfast ingredients were provided, a picnic bag and blanket was available, a recommendation booklet, a speaker, bathrobes - to name a few. Well priced for a great location (short drive to town) and the beautiful forresty property. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We enjoyed our time at the cottage! The location was perfect, offering beautiful sunrise views and easy access to restaurants and cafés. The cottage had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive, even late at night, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return!

Thanks so much for our stay. I agree with the other reviewers who have said that your photos don't do the place justice. We were visited on Day 1 by 2x cockatoos, we could see kookaburras in the trees and hear magpies singing. It's a quick walk to the main street and an even quicker walk to the pub! We had a peaceful and restful rainy weekend and it was just what I needed. Thanks again - Chloe and friends.

Liz & Robert's place is a labour of love. Mont du Soleil and the cottage, both have been very tastefully done. The efforts, eye for detail is evident, the architecture is unique, and the interiors beautiful. The surroundings are very peaceful and there are some really beautiful walks not too far away from the property. I would definitely recommend their place and I myself can't wait to head back again. Apart from the property, both Robert and Liz are extremely pleasant and very thoughtful hosts in ensuring that the guests are well looked after.
