The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. This lodge was built in 2022 and is available for rent to a group of people. For bookings during the 2026 summer holiday period (stays from 21 July to 31 August), children up to primary school age stay free of charge.[When making a reservation, please do not include this in the headcount.] About equipment and equipment Heating is equipped with underfloor heating on all floors on the 1st floor. After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
