The property has an old world charming standard and it is important to us that our guests understand that it is not newly renovated but the south position by the water is superb. The cottage has plenty of space, access to a junior bed and a cot, a sofa bed with 2 sleeping places in the living room (shared space), and access to a wood-fired sauna. It is close to many attractions: Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby 30 km, Katthult 10 km, Bullerbyn 17 km, Kleva Gruva 40 km, Eksjö Trästad 30 km, several swimming lakes and hiking trails nearby. Fast charging for electric cars at a low price. Bed linen and towels available at SEK 80 per person if required.

Free year-round accommodation out in the countryside with the forest next door. 500 m to the nearest neighbor and host. Close to lake, swimming and fishing. Possibility to borrow a boat. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden town, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Cozy lake cottage by the lake in the summer

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Our little house with a bedroom, living room and a small kitchen is right by Lake Sommen. A covered patio, jetty and beach right outside. Summer water, which means hot and cold water from the lake in the kitchen tap and in the toilet block. Separate house with shower cubicle, sink and electric combustion toilet. Fresh water is easily obtained from the host. All bed linens and towels are included. Cleaning is not included. All guests clean up after themselves; all the equipment is in the cabin.

A lakeside paradise in a historic cottage from 1678 – with its own dock! Here you live undisturbed in the middle of nature, only 50 meters from the water. Take a morning swim, fish or relax by the jetty in the evening sun. The cottage has character, soul and a magical atmosphere. On the property, there is also a large guest house in a charmingly converted barn – perfect for family or friends who want to vacation together but still have privacy. Close to the forest, swimming, berry picking, hiking trails and Astrid Lindgren's World.

Bring the whole family to this amazing place with lots of room for fun. Proximity to several attractions including Astrid Lindgren's World Vimmerby, Katthult, Bullerbyn, Norra Kvill National Park. Take a nice walk in the forest. 35 km away is the wooden town of Eksjö with nice old streets, wooden houses, museums and an appreciated guard parade on Saturdays in July. In the garden, there is a nice old earth cellar that is surrounded by benches and a large wooden table. In there, you can sit and enjoy a warm summer day.

The little house in Kvill

A lovely little house with modern standards and a cosy fireplace in the middle of the Småland cultural landscape. Here you live with nature close at hand, surrounded by oak groves, meadows and 19th-century buildings - 25 minutes from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. The magical Norra Kvill National Park, with great hiking opportunities, is 5 minutes from the house. A short walk from the house stands the 1000-year-old Kvilleken, and below the hill you will find a lovely little swimming lake.

Cozy log cabin by Lake Sommen. Excellent for those of you who want to get out to the quiet and unwind from everyday stress. Quiet location with the wild nature around you. 150 meters behind the cottage is a barbecue area and a beautiful view of Lake Sommen. Nice forest areas with walking paths and hiking trails for mushroom and berry picking. Great chance to see a lot of wildlife such as deer, moose, fox and even sea eagle. 500 meters walk to the steamboat harbor, swimming area and fishing.

The Skuru farm is close to Katth Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25-minute drive to Astrid Lindgren's World Perfect for guests looking for a peaceful and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

The farmhouse in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.

This rustic and different gem with amazing views! Enjoy in front of the fireplace or relax in the sauna and spa bath. Here you can experience forest bathing and lovely walks in the woods. Below is the old 18th-century mill with a small private lake adjacent. Nearby is Asby Alpina's nice facility that is kept open during the winter. Amazing mushrooms and berry fields.
