Room layout and details: a) The queen-size bed room on the first floor has a firm mattress, suitable for older family members. b) There is a tatami room next to it where tatami mats can be laid. Please let us know before use. One double tatami bedding set can be laid. c) There is also a toilet, bathroom, a comfortable large living room, a massage chair, a dining room, and a kitchen where you can cook on the first floor. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen. You need to bring your own coffee beans. Please clean the coffee machine after use. It is fully equipped with fire-fighting equipment and emergency indicator lights. Air conditioning and heating. d) Go up the stairs to the second floor. The rooms on the second floor are equipped with air conditioning and heating. Minsu Nishikien - A private building with a Japanese-style room from the Showa era and a stone storehouse from the Meiji era

In the 1920s and 1930s, Otaru, as the largest port in Hokkaido, replaced Hakodate as the commercial and financial center of Hokkaido. Shuji was the busiest area in Otaru at the time, with various banks and pawnshops. 120 years ago, a pawnshop was built in the location of the current Jinyuan Homestay. Its two stone warehouses are still in the Jinyuan courtyard, and the lights of the Taisho period are still intact in the warehouse. Sixty years ago, the former owner of the B&B took over the pawnshop and built this house outside the stone warehouse. At the end of 2017, we took over Jinyuan and retained its original rustic appearance, including the Showa-style Japanese room and the Japanese-style courtyard that has been carefully maintained for more than 60 years. The entire building has 6 rooms, which can accommodate more than 15 people at the same time. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 bathrooms are not in the guest rooms. Some of the bathrooms in the guest rooms are shared. It is a typical Japanese traditional building. There are floor-to-ceiling glass windows on the first floor. Outside the window is a Japanese courtyard. In spring, various precious trees and flowers begin to bloom. The pine trees in the courtyard have grown for 180 years! A 15-minute walk to the Tategami Park. It is a beautiful place to visit in spring, summer, and autumn! 10 min walk to local fishing spot, 5 min walk to morning market and 24 hour supermarket. There are several direct buses at Otaru Station Bus Stop 3, only 10 minutes away, and only 15 minutes walk to the canal. In summer, we have prepared bicycles for you. 5 minutes walk to the 24-hour supermarket, 10 minutes to the beach, canal, railway birthplace, etc., morning market. The Host lives in the management room on the 1st floor.

The Sea

The first room has two double beds (with sea view), the second room has one double bed, the third room has two single beds, and the fourth room is a tatami room for everyone to choose from. There is also a bathroom on the second floor. Everyone is welcome to stay here.
