Holiday rentals in Yugawara, Ashigarashimo District

As many other reviews here have stated, this is one of the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The place is spacious and absolutely gorgeous. We arrived late at night, check in was easy and when we got inside we just said “wow!”. The villa is so well decorated and laid out. Looks even better than photos. There is everything you want or need for your stay. We stayed with our toddler and there were even thoughtful amenities left for her. The delicious treats left for us with handwritten notes was a beautiful surprise. The bed was so comfortable and the private onsen was a perfect addition. Yuji was a great host, very responsive and friendly. We hired a car which made it easier to get to the accommodation as it’s secluded and in nature. Driving is also a great way to explore the local area, definitely recommend. We stayed two nights and wish we stayed longer. We can’t wait to come back to Hakone and stay in your beautiful villa again. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay ❤️

It was a very nice two days.We cooked meals at home ourselves, woke up early to listen to vinyl and birds, chased the daily drama with friends at night, and took beautiful photos.A true home away from home!And the house has unforgettable memories!Opportunity and we will be back!

Cozy and comfortable place with an amazing location. Also came with a complimentary ticket for the hot spring near the place. Host was very accommodating and kind.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. We stayed 2 nights at Yume’s place and it was as expected. Spacious. Quiet. Well equipped. We had plenty of space for the 4 of us. I will echo all the other comments and Yume’s note: there is really nothing around, that’s why it’s so quiet and we loved it. That also means that, without a car, you are really limited in movements and ability to go about. The good thing is it’s on the Hakone Ropeway at the junction of the cable car and pirate ship. We used the ship as local transport to go to Hakone and do some sightseeing. This was great, however limited. We’d love to come back when the weather is clear as it rained non stop for 2 days. Despite that, it was still worth it.

I used it for 7 people. The surrounding environment and the house were very good! I will stay there again!

It's an Airbnb that makes you feel at home. For me, the most impressive are many books, a guitar and unique north America decorations, it's like a journey of different culture, very interesting. The owner respond pretty fast and was very helpful too. A recommendable place. Thank you!
