Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

This is a cute little place tucked away in a private space behind another property. We met Lea our host when we arrived as she liked to show us where to park. She was very friendly and happy to have a chat and wanted to make us feel at home. Lea and Peter have taken great care to add many personal touches to decorate the rooms. The home made bread, fresh eggs and milk were greatly appreciated.

We had a great stay! The bedding was super comfortable, which was perfect after a long day driving along the Great Ocean Road. Melissa was very responsive and helpful throughout. I’d definitely stay again – such a lovely house, ideal for a getaway with family or friends.

Beautiful view and surroundings and a most welcoming host. Bryan was extremely responsive, assisting us with any query promptly. On checkout, he also went searching for koalas for us to view. The cottage has a lovely view of the ocean.

Fantastic setting and so private. Lovely personal touches and everything as described. Space to enjoy the privacy yet close enough to a vibrant town as well. Our dog loved it!

A warm and welcoming host, very communicative and caring. Lovely place just as described, with plenty to do nearby, easy to find with a gorgeous view to sit and relax with a glass of wine. It was beautiful to hear the ocean sounds at dusk and our toy cavoodle enjoyed the walks at the beach and lovely grass areas. Bedding was very comfortable and the tv entertainment was great. We had a fabulous time at Theo’s place. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 grown up children)+ our dog. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved the upstairs living area/kitchen area with a great balcony and wonderful views over Marengo and the paddocks. Perfect to relax with a good book and/or some afternoon drinks. The house is nicely tugged away but still easy to walk to the Main Street and the beach. Our dog and us also loved the garden with all the nice fruit trees. It was perfect for our dog as there was plenty of room for him but also safe as it was all enclosed. We definitely will be back.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was welcoming and comfortable, with all the amenity you need for a short or longer stay. It was too cold for us to use the pool but the open fire place and spa bath were both highlights. We loved exploring the farm and helping with the sheep and chickens and our dog had an amazing time running around the property. This house offers the best of both worlds - private bush surrounds but only 5 mins into Lorne for the beach and restaurants! Jack and Hayley were fantastic with communication - super responsive and accommodating! We also really appreciated meeting Jenny and Peter and their hospitality during our stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to booking again in the future!
