The path of the postman - miners' house Birnbaum

Romantic accommodation in a 300-year-old original mining house with a preserved "black kitchen" and its own adit in Banská Hodruša - the oldest and most beautiful part of the mining village Hodruša - Hámre, which lies in a narrow valley surrounded on all sides by the beautiful greenery of the Štiavnické vrchy mountains and is part of the UNESCO heritage site "Banská Štiavnica and technical monuments of the surroundings". The cottage provides complete peace and privacy, it is accessible only by a 150 m long steep pedestrian path from the parking lot below the hill.

Humno is a wooden building in a loft design. Authentic wooden walls and beams are complemented by a distinctive architectural element, the "cube", which is a perfect symbol of modernity. On the left is a kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher and oven. On the right, there is a bathroom with a toilet. The center of the cube is designed as a mini office with a bed and a bedroom was created on top, which is also a transition to a relaxing, climbing net at a height of 3.5 m. Outside, a large terrace was created, in which a heating tub is also embedded.

Hostia môžu taktiež využívať vonkajší bazén s terasou a ležadlami na slnenie (predpokladané spustenie do prevádzky leto 2025) a mestské bicykle, ktoré ponúkame pre hostí zdarma.

Apartment contains one big sleeping room, one smaller sleeping room, equipped kitchen and bathroom. Our house is situated in quiet location 5 minutes drive from historical city center (taxi ~5€) of Trenčín. In summer days guest can use the garden with beautiful view on mountains for relaxation. Parking is directly in the garden next to house.
