Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Family-friendly cottage in the most beautiful hiking area! Our small Einödhof is located in the most beautiful valley of the Bavarian Forest, hidden on the mountain slope in the forest and only accessible via a forest path. Our visitors enjoy the tranquility and naturalness of the place and the coziness of their holiday home. In front of the log cabin there is a sheltered sitting area with sandpit and campfire area. A few meters away there is a small mountain pond. Bathing is allowed, but the water is ice cold.

The mountain hut was built using regional craftsmanship from local spruce trunks, in the Canadian log cabin style. The house is individually and lovingly furnished down to the last detail. Our own Starlink system provides you with high-speed internet. Bringing pets is possible by arrangement. Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the accommodation. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with a lookout tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can follow a stream to the peaks. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.
