Monthly Rentals in Abbeydale

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Shamba Barn. Shelley was a fantastic host and very helpful, spoiling us with biscuits and cake. The Barn has everything you could wish for to make it feel like your home away from home. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully laid out with many thoughtful touches to make it feel special. We were fortunate to have good weather during our stay, so we could relax on the sun loungers during the day and eat dinner at the spacious outside table one evening. There are plenty of places to visit during the day and lots of local pubs and restaurants for dinner in the evening or you can cook in the well equipped kitchen at Shamba Barn. We had a lovely meal at the Black Horse Inn in Cranham and also at La Campagna in Stonehouse. Portway Farm Shop is well worth a visit for local produce and a coffee shop. We had a wonderful time at Shamba Barn and look forward to returning again.

Apartment was great, had everything we needed. Bed and sofa were both comfortable. One small issue was regularly the neighbour in flat directly above would walk around for a while at 3-4am which woke us. Location was quiet and near local amenities. Would definitely recommend

I had a wonderful stay at Suku’s place! She is incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, she showed me around the house and made sure I felt at home. The room was comfortable, the bed cozy, and the bathroom and kitchen were both very clean. I really appreciated being able to use the kitchen — it was spotless and well-equipped. Suku and her grandma were both so kind, and our conversations made me feel like I was staying with family. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the city centre, which was perfect for me as I was working in town. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay with Suku again the next time I’m in Gloucester!

Excellent location for the purpose of my travel. Clean and comfortable stay. Instructions were clear. Would definitely stay again.
