We, the Kenkel family, have been living in the old manor house since 2006, which was built in 1938 by Miss. Paula Rath as a commercial building for the Dammerstorfer estate and was sold in 1942 to the aircraft manufacturer Ernst Heinkel as a hunting lodge. Our 2-hectare farm is located on the L19 between Bad Sülze and Sanitz, about 20 km east of Rostock and 30 km from the Baltic Sea in the middle of an approx. 600-hectare mixed forest. The 3 approx. 150 sqm parking spaces are available for campers, RVs and tents.

Sky & wood

The lovingly furnished wooden house offers plenty of space for friends & family of 130 sq m. Away from the tourist hotspots, you can find peace & quiet in nature, on walks through the Bodden landscape, sunbathing on the terrace, cosily in front of the fireplace, with a view over the wide field where deer and cranes say good morning to each other. The nearest hotspots for water sports enthusiasts are just a few minutes away, the beautiful Baltic Sea beaches are 25 min away. Dogs are very welcome.

Nature lovers and wellness enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. On about 55 m² of space, a private terrace and plenty of space in the fairytale grounds, you will certainly experience a lot of beautiful moments. The Finnhütte Möwe also has something very special to offer: your own little wellness paradise - a 4 m² Finnish sauna.

Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Cosy holiday apartment in the manor house near the Baltic Sea (Stralsund approx. 20 km, Zingst / Fischland Darß approx. 35 km). The modern apartment (about 40 m²) has a small kitchenette, TV, Wi-Fi, double bed, dining area - ideal for 2 people. The manor house is idyllically located in a small village, offers rural tranquility and at the same time proximity to the Baltic Sea. Pool and sauna use by arrangement – perfect for relaxing after excursions to the beach or the region.

Pirate oasis

The apartment is located right next to a nature reserve. The Bodden (Ribnitz-Damgarten) is about 15 minutes away by car and the Baltic Sea is about 25 minutes. The Vogelpark Marlow is about 12 km away. There are also opportunities to canoe on the Recknitz. A gas station with a small supermarket is about 4 km away. Rostock is 40 km away and Stralsund about 50 km. Four times a week, the bakery van arrives in the morning around 11 AM.

Crane Museum & Hotel in Hessenburg, Apartment 2

The Kranich Hotel offers the rare experience of staying in a museum. Designed as a place to slow down, extensive walks can be taken here on the Bodden and Baltic Sea beaches. Returning home, you can relax in the foam of antique bathtubs overlooking the park. Lamps mounted under the floorboards let the light glide over the walls. The Kranichhotel with its outbuildings is also very suitable for small groups, workshops or seminars.

A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle. Feel free to write if you want to bring your dog.

The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming apartments and lovingly designed representative rooms. Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished and spacious Georg suite. The suite, named after the last landlord, has two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub, all with its 85 m². From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire estate.
