We (2 adults and 2 children) spent 1 week in August in a very relaxing setting surrounded by animals ( horses, sheep...). What violence when you come back to the Paris area! The kids loved spending time with the animals and a big thank you to Marie for her teachings. We will come back. 40 min from the Dordogne river, 4 bastides to visit between 5 min and 20 min. Very nice experience.

Amazing house, great host! Nothing to complain about! Perfect for a weekend with friends at the heart of the countryside. A total change of scenery.

beautiful,well maintained and neat gîte and garden. Spacious home and fenced yard, ideal for the dog. located in wooded area,fun for a stroll. Laurie is friendly and easily accessible for questions etc. Enjoy the sunshine wonderfully quiet.

The house was as described and very comfortable. It’s set in a very peaceful location but not far from amenities and picturesque bastide towns. Owners are next door but respect your privacy and helpful if needed. Kaya the dog is super!

The accommodation available for rent offers a magical/intimate/cocooning atmosphere just like your beautiful garden. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, the interior is fragrant, the bedding comfortable, the most comfortable cushions I have known in my entire life! This stay was pleasant, peaceful and allowed us to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed the countryside and visited the surroundings. There is a ✨ Ranch called Bel Air nearby which is amazing, a medieval town Pujols which is splendid and surely full of other wonders to discover in the surroundings. if you're looking for rural, rustic with amazing views and enjoy the odd visit from a deer then this is the place for you. Emma was exceptionally accommodating and even invited us in her home for an Easter meal. Emma has great recommendations for.local and non local places. there are a lot of English who meet locally who Emma introduced us to and along with Emma we had lots of great times. the Gite is comfty and cosy and a brilliant typical French home surrounded by vines and woodlands and a short 2 mile walk to the local village. this is one of those places you'll revisit time and time again

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of an environment conducive to calm and rest. The place is ideally located to discover the region with many activities nearby (gastronomy, heritage, sports activities). Paulette and Martin are very welcoming and discreet hosts, very attentive to their occupants. The house is absolutely in line with the photos and services shown, it's a real little gem, we loved our stay.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

Sylvie's house is very functional, 2 minutes from the Lou Chibaou equestrian pole which allowed us to be close to our horses in case of need. The house is very clean, the beds are comfortable. Perfect place!

We enjoyed 7 fantastic days in Urval (Dordogna), the area is 10 like Denise and Marc's house. The house is not missing any detail, it is decorated with an exquisite taste, it is welcoming ,clean, comfortable , it has absolutely everything necessary to have a stay as if you were in your own house. The gardens are dreamy, the pool area is beautiful. The house is very close to everything interesting to visit from the perigord, the village is very quiet, it has supermarkets and restaurants 10 minutes away. Thanks to Denise and Marc for making the stay so pleasant. We'll be back for sure.

We got lost and Huguette came to meet us to prevent us from going in circles and kindly lent us chairs for our guests.

Véronique and Olivier's warm welcome makes you feel immediately at ease in this accommodation, perfectly in line with the listing description. Quiet, very comfortable, good location... Ideal for our 3-day weekend of going green. We highly recommend it!!

The hosts were brilliant. Respected our privacy but then were always proactive in responding to any questions that we had. They left a really helpful guidebook with local recommendations and provided us with fresh vegetables from their veggie patch. They also provided us with a babygate and toys for our 16 month old. The place was even better than we expected and so peaceful. Lovely views and a perfect base for a perfect family holiday. It was very relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
