Welcome to a cosy house in Ål in beautiful Hallingdal – perfect for quiet days in the mountains and relaxing in your own hot tub and sauna in the garden. The house has an open-plan living room and kitchen, a wood-burning stove, a large terrace and a garden with a fire pit and a pizza oven. Good sleeping places with made beds, towels included and everything ready upon arrival. A nice base for exploring Hallingdal. Close to the centre and with a short distance to ski resorts, cross-country skiing, mountain hikes, Fiksevann and great cycling trails in the area. Beautiful in both summer and winter!

Wild, beautiful and steep! Cabin with great views. Great natural surroundings with good hiking opportunities. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

Great cabin centrally located in Hallingdal

Our cabin was renovated and extended in the fall of 2022, and we can warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to a loft/living room with a double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washing machine/dryer and well equipped kitchen. In the attic living room there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge an electric car.

Cabin from 2018 with a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.
