Welcome to completely refurbished Solhaug! The house in the midway of Hallingdal, in the midway of Oslo and Bergen Great view of the valley in peaceful surroundings. Short distance to skiing opportunities, both slalom slopes and large trail network for cross country skiing. There are tough bike trails in the hill right by the house, and fishing opportunities nearby. The space is suitable for a small holiday for the family, or for couples who want to go on a trip together. The proximity to highway 7 makes the space suitable if you need an accommodation on the way between east and west.

Cozy little house

Cozy little house, located on farm, Ål in Hallingdal. On the farm, in the neighboring house, there is a family of 5 + two dogs, and in the barn we have sheep. In April/May there is the possibility to greet lambs and experience paralysis. 15 min from city centre 5 min to 24-hour grocery store. 5 min to Ål ski center. 10 minutes to ski slopes in the mountains. The student union house consists of: 1st floor: hallway, living room, kitchen and bathroom. 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms- # 1 with double bed, # 2 with double bed and single bed. THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing water, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Delicate cabin surrounded by Hallingdal's beautiful mountains

Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cottage is located right by the Hallingdalselva river,just 2 km from the center of Ål. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Cabin in the mountains in Hallingdal

Newly built cabin at Torpoåsen in Hallingdal is rented out when we do not use it ourselves. Located in the middle of the mountains at Ål and in Hemsedal. Driveable road all the way up to the cabin from June to November. In winter you have to go skiing 1 km. in flat, prepared terrain, or rent scooter transport into the cabin (we arrange a ride). Top modern cabin with panoramic view of the mountains in Hallingdal. Strictly hiking opportunities all year round; by foot, bike, skiing or snowshoeing. Welcome!

Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.
