Sleeping up to 12, perfect for a multi family holiday, or golf weekend. We live in a mountain playground of biking, hiking, ski-ing, fly fishing and back country adventures. Or just snuggle up by the wood burning fireplace. 2.5 hours from Calgary, 40 minutes to Fernie ,B.C. And close to Castle mountain as well. Welcome to the Blackbird!

Biking and Hiking trails are outside your door; Well behaved Dogs (No CATS) are welcome but we MUST be informed as there is a Pet Fee and guidelines. Please Note that we have a Neighbour on one side.

Sun Beam Retreat

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Runaway Express Coach

Our little caboose seems to have escaped the Kettle Valley Rail Line; offering a slice of peaceful, mountain retreat. The passengers whistle with pleasure as they rest in the queen size luxury bed. Tucked away amongst the rocks, pines and burbling creek; the cute woodstove brings it together as a cozy place for dreaming. In the past two years the railroad tycoons staying here have always rated us 5 stars on cleanliness. Includes business ready wifi speeds of 350 mbps.
