This was my first time in Kalimpong and I came for a research trip. Bidhya aunty and her whole family were extremely nice and helpful and I felt right at home :) There were so many cute dogs (and a cat) and the location was extremely beautiful with lots of opportunities for nice walks and hikes. The food by Binita didi was absolutely delicious and even simple things like the tea and coffee were so good. They always made sure to fulfill all my requests and I really benefitted with all their recommendations about local places to see and other things that would be relevant to my research. I highly recommend the place as the host is very genuine and sweet and never made me feel like I was staying away from home :) I will miss all of them a lot and will definitely return again to stay!

Excellent experience, the location was very peaceful and does justice to the description “Away From Hustle and Bustle”. It’s a beautiful farm stay where you get to experience the view of the magnificent mountains amid a farm. Place was exactly as described with all the listed amenities of washing machine, wi-fi accessibility and power backup. In fact the speed was pretty good for me to work remotely. Room and washroom was very neat and clean. The farm stay was actually amidst nature amidst crops of Maize, Oranges, Avocados, Kiwi plants, poultry farm (whose residents would serve you as a natural alarm clock 😁) . Only thing which could have been better is the attached washroom, it was right outside the room. Aunty (Megna’s mother) is such a nice lady that you will feel you are at your own home. She is the best chef I feel, her hands have magic in them. I feel that this is the best part of this homestay. It’s her presence that makes your stay special. If you are planning then just go.
