We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

We had a great time in a very warm place. Laura came to greet us and give us all the information we needed for our installation and the visits and restaurants not to be missed. We were able to bring our Saint Bernard who enjoyed the stay as much as we did. There's no doubt we'll be back! Thank you for everything!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house. Sweet and warm atmosphere

We loved it SO SO much. We already miss the view and the peace and the silence. This house and the host are real gems. We would love to come back.

The cottage is really adorable and Sarah is a great host. The staircase to the pointed gable is not for children and disabled people. The Swedish stove in the living room is great. The kitchen utensils are a bit outdated but are available for 2 people.

We found this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and it‘s the perfect cozy stay before / after a long hike. Jana provided us with the option to get dinner and breakfast in the restaurant next door and the homemade and freshly cooked food was just amazing. We cannot recommend this place enough! We‘ll definitely be back to try more hikes nearby and enjoy the beautiful nature. Thanks a lot Jana & Joel

We enjoyed our week at Chalet La balma together with our dog Elvis. You can walk beautifully from the chalet. The chalet is super in order, cozy and nice and warm. We didn't meet Marco but he's a very responsive host and we were welcomed by a sweet lady from the village. Upon arrival were pampered with wine, and many local treats. What a treat. We hope to come back to this special place!

Fantastic hosts, cosy apartment, delicious food. Very private in the beautiful forest, the distant sound of the river lulled us to sleep each night. Definitely be sure to eat a meal or two in the delicious restaurant!

I don't want to say anything good about this place for fear of not having places for next year😁. As you can see, this is a great place to stay but especially great hosts. The setting is idyllic, located at an equal distance from Lago di Lugano and Lago di Como. A raised car is very useful for passing the cobblestone path. Claudia and Luca's place has everything you need to spend time with the family and decompress. Claudia and Luca are very thoughtful hosts who answer all our questions quickly. ( This was helpful due to a car issue.) The horses were a plus for my daughter who was delighted to be able to take care of them with Claudia. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and located 20 minutes from the great Italian lakes. What more could you ask for? 😉

We enjoyed our time in the cottage of Cristina and Adolfo! The cottage is located in the middle of the small village, but due to stables it is still very quiet and without direct contact with neighbors. The location is fantastic with the view and tranquility. In the village there are some free-roaming dogs, especially on weekends, which was a bit stressful for us with a dog. During the week it is much quieter. The house is well equipped, very good to heat and the ceilings are warm, so we did not freeze even at colder temperatures. Cristina and Adolfo are incredibly warm and the contact was great! They picked us up from the train station so we didn't need a car on site. The nearest supermarket in Cambiasca is easily accessible by bus. We will definitely come back, possibly then with a hike through the directly adjacent Val Grande National Park!

We had a great time, charming village, very nice and quiet. I recommend it to everyone. Francesca and her parents are very helpful and welcoming.

A little corner of peace in the mountains! The apartment is rustic, cozy and with a breathtaking view. The location is super convenient to reach the ski lifts, but at the same time surrounded by nature. Perfect for those looking for relaxation and typical alpine atmosphere!

We really enjoyed the stay at the cabin, which is rustic but equipped with everything you need and even more, very clean and more beautiful than in the photos. Luciano is a perfect host, discreet and always available. The path to reach the cabin is short and comfortable (we had no problem finding it with Luciano's very precise directions) and the small effort to bring your own things and groceries is amply rewarded by absolute tranquility, once you arrive. Returning in the evening after a walk (there are beautiful ones, without having to use the car) was like coming home. Our dog found a friend always ready to play in the splendid Oléo, in short, we really couldn't ask for more. Perfect for those looking for silence and nature, but don't want to be overly isolated.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It has a wonderful view and is slightly outside the town. The home is spacious and comfortable for the four of is, but it will probably be quite crowded with more. Thanks for having us!

The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

Il Picchio is a beautiful chalet. Comfortable beds for 7. Excellent shower. Spacious living room. Francesca is the perfect host: made great suggestions of restaurants, festivals and even a hiking guide! You have to hike Alpe Veglia! Stunning. Lake Orta is a beautiful lake and Orta San Giulio is a gem of a lakeside village. We highly recommend Il Picchio. We will be back!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

We had a wonderful time in Clelia's little cottage. Absolute tranquility, beautiful surroundings, a cozy ambiance, simple furnishings but enough of everything. The contact with Clelia was very pleasant.

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.
