Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence

small house just at the entrance of the village on 3 levels. parking 50 meters away , very quiet , small shops in the village square 100 meters away . small terrace overlooking the Jabron Valley.

Beautiful Provencal farmhouse, very well equipped , perfectly clean , the pool is nice! Manon and her husband are very friendly, they recommended great places and nice visits to the area! Thanks to them! We had the pleasure of tasting their grapes , delicious! We recommend this property!

Pascal is the ideal host:full of resources, ideas and a great culture of his Verdon region. His advice was relevant. The house was very cool despite the outdoor summer heat. The tricentennial lime tree in front of the front porch was appreciated and great for protecting yourself from the heat.

Magali was very friendly and we soon settled in and took advantage of the beautiful surroundings. The log burner kept us cosy when the sun went down. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was useful to have oil, balsamic, herbs, salt and pepper provided along with cling film and foil. We were 5 adults and there was plenty of space for us all without feeling cramped. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend Magali and her wonderful Bastide.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexia's place. The apartment is comfortable, in line with description and photos. Quiet, a few meters walk from the center of Auron. Great location. Within walking distance of the city center of Castellane. Very nice region with a lot of activities. Cyril gave us an address of an organization for canyoning and that was immediately the highlight for our children. The cottage has a large bathroom with large shower. Very nice is the plancha outside to bake meat. Works very well and less hassle than with the bbq. Cyril is super friendly and always available for questions. We enjoyed our week in Castellane at Cyril's place very much.

What to say except that we had a wonderful weekend! If you are looking for a quiet place, with plenty of facilities like the tennis court, the ping pong table or the garden. Everyone was delighted and the house is big enough not to be on top of each other and have each our moments. I recommend it without a second thought, and it would be a pleasure to come back for a relaxing weekend in the area! Thanks to Rkia for her kind and responsiveness throughout the weekend.

Our stay at l’Amandier was super. The house is located in a beautifully maintained garden and is itself tastefully furnished and equipped with all the comforts. The pool was lovely and cleaned daily by the neighbor (friendly & helpful). Aline (Jacques' mother) took care of our booking and provided us with fun tips. She was very quick with questions. It was very nice that all the necessities are present in the house (air mattresses for in the pool, pump, first aid kit, all kinds of herbs and food in the kitchen, etc.). What's up, fill it up again, great concept. The only downside I can think of is the location compared to the big cities. You drive down the mountain in a little less than a half hour before heading out on the highway. Incidentally, my teenage daughters found this a greater disadvantage than my husband and I. We enjoyed the great advantage of the location: the peace & privacy:). In addition, the villages in the near area are nice to visit and great for a restaurant visit. We enjoyed and would love to come back!
