My holiday home in Wendland

This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three enclosed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a sauna. Suitable for up to two families or three couples. The location: village edge overlooking the fields, the circular village of Trabuhn in beautiful Wendland. In the village there is a riding stable with flexible riding opportunities for guests, including children. Swimming opportunities in Arendsee and Gartow.

Luxury living in the old walls of the former Riddagshausen forester's lodge: In the evening, sit comfortably on the sheepskin in one of the wide window sills overlooking the park-like garden of the "Stadt-Land-Scheune" (city-country-barn). Enjoy the flickering light of the gas fireplace or cook with friends at the cooking island. Be enchanted architecturally by the room height and the impressive roof structure. Japanese shower toilet. Welcome to our stylish holiday apartment – ideal for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, the accommodation offers modern living comfort over approx. 170 m². You can expect a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed for two more guests. Space for up to 10 people. The highlight is the bright living area with high ceilings, open timber-framed walls and glazed Tennentor overlooking the village square.

Lichtblick Dähre

The Lichtblick Dähre apartment is located in the heart of the Altmark – one of the oldest cultural landscapes in Germany. The small town of Dähre is surrounded by hills, forests and meadows and invites you to take walks, bike tours and enjoy nature. Nearby you will find the Dähre forest pool and charming half-timbered villages. Birdsong instead of traffic noise, starry skies instead of city lights – here you will find peace and quiet. The region is ideal for excursions to Salzwedel or Wendland.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed three-sided farmstead are built with an oak timber frame. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees have been pruned back, the house can be seen in all its splendour. From May onwards, it then slowly disappears behind the shade-providing foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer... 

Vacation home on the Drömling

Our apartment is located on the ground floor of a large farmhouse, right by the Drömling, the biosphere reserve. It has a separate entrance and parking spaces with the option of charging an electric car for a fee of 0.40 euros per kWh. The farm is completely fenced and ideal for children. The swing, the sandpit and the stilt house are all available for playing. You are welcome to use the pool. A barbecue (charcoal) is available. We also live in the house and are available at any time
