Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Amherst County

It was a rainy weekend but we got great recommendations for places to go! Getting rained in by the fireplace wasn't too bad anyway, what a relaxing visit. We will definitely be back!

The place was beautiful, roomy and spacious! Great place to host a family dinner for special event. Cozy and nostalgic. Bill was a gracious host and reached out to us to ensure we had what we needed and even had breakfast items and a snack upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. :)

Rebecca was an outstanding host. An amazing person and a pleasure to be around. The property and house were exactly what we were looking for during our weekend of history. The horses are amazing to be around and the property is so peaceful. It’s a different feel there. The house was beautiful. Highly recommend

This was an amazing stay/experience. We went for our anniversary and had such a peaceful and relaxing time away from the normal routine and stresses of life. The view was absolutely amazing, whether taking it in from the hot tub or sitting out in the yard. The hot tub and home theater were nice to be able to unwind with and extremely easy to operate. Mary Catherine was a great host and always responsive and helpful. She also had so many thoughtful and wonderful things throughout the home, from a M&M dispenser and popcorn in the theater room to bottled waters/snacks and a basket of toiletries in case anything was forgotten. We can not recommend this house enough and are grateful for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Ashley and Ryan are amazing hosts! Very proactive and welcoming. Our family really enjoyed staying at their beautiful home.

This was the perfect place for our family to meet up & celebrate Easter together. The place was well organized & fully stocked. Comfortable bedding and beautifully decorated for Easter! So many little touches that made our stay fun! Easy to navigate her instructions & Eve allowed us an earlier arrival than we expected. We would definitely recommend & stay again!

Traveled from NC to spend Christmas with family. Thankful for the Christmas decorations as this was a wonderful surprise. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Highly recommend and we will plan a stay again in the near future.

Ronald’s place was perfect for us! We came to the area for a dog trial and the farm setting was great for our dogs. It was soo comfortable of a place to stay, from the comfy couch to the fireplace (thermostat-controlled). It was extremely quiet and convenient for us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This place was a peaceful retreat for us while we were in Lynchburg for a college tour. It was very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly it felt so inviting that we wanted to extend our stay. We spent our morning coffee time on the porch admiring the river view and watching the bald eagles in their nest. So beautiful! Great place!!!

Loved staying here! It was perfect for my husband, baby and I. The renovations were beautiful and honestly had a lot of thoughtful little details! It was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the loft. Very convenient location with fantastic and modern accommodations - all exactly as described / shown in pictures. We stayed over Christmas and were surprised to find the loft had even been decorated for the holidays with beautiful tree, stockings, and more. Those little extra touches made the stay all the more memorable. Thank you!

What a dream! I am so happy I stayed at Winston’s bnb. I needed a place to stay in Lynchburg for a month and this was the perfect spot. Not only is it centrally located (making it so easy to explore downtown without having to drive anywhere), but the apartment was so lovely, historic and so much bigger than it looks. Tall ceilings, old architecture. Felt as if I was staying in a piece of history. The secret garden and stream/waterfall in the back was a great way to relax and unwind. Winston was such a great host, really appreciate her communication and sharing Lynchburg with me. Overall it was such a great stay, wish it didn’t have to come to an end. Hope to visit again in the future.
