Formerly a granary, but housing since 1946, and has retained some of the original character. Equipped for simple cooking, with a stove. Refrigerator and freezer. Electric car charging only by appointment in advance. One bedroom, steep stairs up.

We are rented out a new and great apartment in a unique natural area overlooking the Tjongsfjord and as a starting point for fishing trips and hiking in the fields and mountains! You can borrow a boat from us and use our barbecue hut. There is the possibility of filleting fish on site. We are registered tourist fishing business. Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
