Practical and nice cabin. Plenty of room. Beautiful elevated location above the village. All amenities and well-equipped kitchen. Newer kitchens and bathrooms that were fresh. Nice sauna. Gustaf was quick to respond and was very helpful.

We had an amazing time on Isön! It’s a beautiful place to… relax in a wonderful wood-fired sauna on its own jetty with the most amazing lake view during sunset… or go for a hike in the nature reserve on the island right next to it… or go for a skate on the frozen lake… and so much more. The house itself is also very nice, good kitchen and a nice shared living/bedroom. And Jessica was also very nice and responsive. Can 100% recommend it.

A really lovely cottage with super nice views of the valley and mountains. Close to cross-country tracks that run in a beautiful mountain environment. We took the car up to Hovärksparkeringen (where they start) but it would also have been easy to get there on foot. The young people went skiing to the slopes by first going up the hill in the woods. Otherwise we took the car. We had a really lovely week and can warmly recommend the cabin.

Certainly one of our best Airbnb stays so far! Eveline went above and beyond what's required to make us feel welcome, providing very helpful local tips and anything we needed, really. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying in Airbnb. At the same time we had a nice private unit with a veranda and were never disturbed by anything there. On the contrary, it was very quiet and cozy, warm with a real fireplace. Ah yes and we saw Auroras directly above us in the backyard in their full glory! (Admittedly, we got a bit lucky there.) The place is a couple of minutes away on foot from a beautiful lake which is great for ice-skating. Besides that, there are nice back-country ski runs through the forest that are reachable. We traveled everywhere by public transport (mainly bus) and while connections to and within the city are fine, going elsewhere required planning as buses are infrequent. A car would be more convenient, but in the winter one should be prepared to drive on snow/ice.

The most wonderful and tranquil place for a break! Sune and Brigitta’s place was a perfect oasis of calm, in such a beautiful area. It was well equipped and warm, and such a treat to have both a tub and a sauna. We visited Östersund where we ice skated on the lake, skied in Åre, and went for a beautiful walk in the snow to the bridge that Sune built himself!

Wonderful stay at Inger's place. The place was very nice and the surroundings surrounded by nature quite what we needed. Inger and her husband were adorable with recommendations and always attentive. Many activities in the area. It was a lovely stay.

We stayed there for two months early 2024 and had an absolutely amazing time. The home is spartanly decorated with no TV or dishwasher but the price matched expectations and all the conditions were honestly described. We arrived at made beds which was a great bonus that we had not counted on. Both Robin and Signe are absolutely great to deal with. Very professional, friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and well taken care of. We'd love to come back in the future :)

In person and in the middle of the ski area

The cabin was as pictured, very personal, and it made it a nice stay. Great views from all over the living room. Very central for Björnen, you could ski on a blue transport route directly to the slopes or just walk, five minutes. We were there a family of four with two teenage sons, and great to come after skiing for the sauna, cooking and card games in the cozy living room. Jenny was very flexible, we could check in a little earlier (came by night trains from Stockholm/Copenhagen) and leave the luggage for a few hours the day we left. There wasn't really space to put clothes off, but we knew that from the listing, and it was fine to have most things in the suitcases. There was a reasonably large entrance hall with room for ski boots, etc. We would like to return to Jenny's lovely apartment.

Beautiful location. Easy to get to downtown Ostersund with a quick car ride or bus. The lake was frozen during our visit, so we checked out skates from downtown and had a blast skating on the ice. This was a great spot for multi-generational family gathering. We hope to visit again soon!

Nice place. The apartment roughly corresponds to what you see on the pictures. The sauna could be renovated. The location is the best possible. Nice hosts and great ski resort.

Villa Ro - Relaxing home near nature & ski slopes

We spent 5 nights at Elin's home and we had a nice time. The annex at the back is inviting and you can sit there to play, draw or eat a game, for example. There are 4 bedrooms with all double beds. Two bedrooms are located downstairs, where there is also an extra bathroom and toilet. Also here are the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is clean, tidy and super cozily furnished. We would love to come back again.

Niclas was a great and helpful host. He always responded quickly and made sure we had a nice stay. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly and everything was prepared when we arrived. The house had everything you need and nature with forest and lakes around was great with access to hiking trails and fishing.

A wonderful cabin - real getaway in Storhogna

We had a lovely ski week in this nice cabin. The cottage is cozy, the kitchen well equipped and is located almost no view of the neighbors. It may be good to know that 2 of 3 bedrooms are very small but for us it worked well. There are good hangers, etc., for ski stuff for a whole family and extra appreciated with ski boot heaters. Thank you for a great stay in your cabin, Peo!
