This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Der zentrale Mittelpunkt ist die geräumige Kücheninsel, an der Du nicht nur kochen, sondern auch sitzen kannst. Hier im Süden Amrums ist das Meer ganz nah und die Dünenlandschaft und der riesige Kniepsand sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ein perfekter Startpunkt für entspannte Inselabenteuer!

In a dream location - 150 meters from the most beautiful North Strander beach Fuhlehörn - is the North Beach Nixenhaus with two apartments. This small upper apartment is ideally suited for two people. The bed is in a niche that can be closed by a curtain. From the window you can look at the dyke. A small note for our very large guests: The ceiling height here is 2.07 meters. This apartment is located above the Nordstrandnixe ashore.

Nestled in nature overlooking the expanses of the Amrum dunes is the Dünencamping Amrum, our host of the Amrum ROOF TENT VILLAGE. Far out in the North Sea – an original pirate island with heathland, dunes and little tam-tam. Enjoy the fresh, cool breeze that brushes your face and the sand under your feet. Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026
