Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Near the beautiful Noorderplantsoen in one of the most beautiful and quiet neighborhoods of Groningen spend the night in an atmospheric colorful lower house. There is a garden bedroom and an anteroom, both with double beds, and a mezzanine where you can also sleep. A private kitchen with coffee and tea, fridge and oven/microwave, a dining room with access to the intimate city garden full of flowers. Privacy with own bathroom and toilet. You walked into the downtown area within 5 min!

Relax in detached, cozy cottage.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove stands on a piece of land between the old port of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are located around the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local bakery for fresh sandwiches. A walk started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bikes you can explore the wooded, rural surroundings via all kinds of routes. A place to relax!

Geniet van de rust van het Groninger platteland met het uitzicht op de skyline van de stad. Het Tiny House is een uit hergebruikt materiaal vervaardigde zelfstandige wooneenheid van 2,5m x 5m. Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .

Our cozy, characteristic back house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a marvellous large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a beautiful view over the meadows behind.
