Conveniently located about 15 minutes away from both Glacier National Park and Whitefish. Just 5 minutes to get into downtown Columbia Falls. The space was clean, uncluttered, and had a rustic mountain charm. Kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some light meals. There was also grill in the backyard and a fire pit, which we did not have a chance to use. Parking was directly in front of the unit which made packing/unpacking easy. The coin operated laundry at the other end of the property was helpful as we were traveling for several days but packed lightly. Overall a positive stay!

We stayed at Old Brown after the park lodges were closed for the season, and were glad for the location's flexibility. Lots to do, all within an hour's drive, and beautiful fall weather up to the last day when it turned cold. Susan's place was great - I do a lot of cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked, although we bought a few extra large bowls and utensils and could have used one or two more small pans (2-3 qts.). Local grocery store was closed, but the nearest was only about 8 miles away. Frozen huckleberries and huckleberry pie at Huckleberry Land!!!!! Nights were cold, and we would have liked some extra blankets, but the heaters and fireplace made everything nice and cozy. Definitely would stay again!!
