Holiday rentals with beach access in Appalachian Mountains

Great host, a great location, and so close to things to do. Found great places to eat, and local conveniences were easy to find. Jay was so helpful, and the place had great charm. I would stay here again.

Very nice family space. Nice area to play games or watch movies on the rainy days. Kathy was super helpful with parking and getting settled.

We came in from out of town for a few days and were so pleased with our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. It was very close to the beach and walkable to the center for entertainment and restaurants. We would absolutely book again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

A hidden gem! Very comfortable couch and bed, well equipped kitchenette, and perfect location! Earl was a very responsive host, we are definitely going to keep this place in our favorites list for future trips to the OBX!

The stay was exactly what I needed from beginning to end! Martina’s responsiveness was impressive and she was very accommodating in every way right down to personally bringing new batteries for the tv remote. Super host! We really enjoyed our stay! Patricia was responsive and flexible with our check in time. The place was perfect for what we needed. Finding the place was easy. The heat worked very well throughout the apartment. It had the necessities and for only one night stay, it worked for us. Highly recommend staying!

The location was great for what we needed. One mile away from Topsail Manor where my son was getting married. Easy access and close to the beach. Beach was very clean. House was also clean except for sand on the floors and in the sheets. House also had a lot of needed necessities. I would stay here again.

Extremely charming, homey old-school beach cottage very near the beach, plus a great separate 1 bedroom small cottage on the same property (internet was good in the large cottage, not in the small one). Lots of great screened in porch space, plus an upper deck with ocean view. Large fenced back yard. Beautiful sunrises *and* sunsets, both! We were there in late September, so there were minor signs of end-of-season wear--normal for an older beach house at the end of beach season, and makes it feel more homey & relaxing. Less than 5 min walk to beach (long stairway to access beach). Walking along White Horse Beach is best at low to mid tide. No "low tide" smell at low tide. Beach is rocky in the sense that there are a lot of little smooth round multicolored rocks, plus a few very picturesque huge rocks out in the ocean. Beach is comfortably walkable if you wear flip-flops or water shoes. Short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, & many historic sites including Mayflower II.

I love staying at Sheila’s place. I’m a return customer. Her place is a nice little no frills place off the beach. It’s immaculately cleaned The area is very walkable to the boardwalk. It’s comfortable and I feel safe when I am there. There is some noise as it’s close to “the action” but that’s a part of the appeal. The place does allow pets however there is a weight restriction so if you plan on taking your pet you must talk with her when you book the place. Sheila herself is super communicative. She is kind and respectful. You really cannot go wrong with this diamond in the rough.

The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean. Heather was extremely responsive to a couple of small things that came up and very concerned that all the details of our stay were perfect. The house was spacious and fully stocked, and we loved the hot tub and screened porch in back. The location was great for us -- on a safe, quiet street and an easy walk to a secluded beach. Since this house is located on the western tip of NJ, we were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Downtown Cape May is just a 10-15 minute drive as well. Overall a great experience -- would definitely stay in one of Heather's Cape May homes again and recommend to friends/family.

This place was perfect for my wife and our dogs! Beachfront location is amazing! Updated, beautiful & fully stocked kitchen was helpful. Host was extremely responsive, very timely and answered all our questions. We will definitely look into staying here again!

Absolutely perfect stay! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything I could’ve wanted for a relaxing getaway. It couldn’t have been more special. The space was beautifully kept, super comfortable, easy to tidy, and made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back! I highly recommend. It took 2 minutes to walk to the beach and is in a welcoming neighborhood. 5 stars ⭐️

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Very happy with our stay here! Beach is such an easy walk with access directly across the street. Pretty sunset views over marina. The restaurant at the marina next door is also very tasty! The beach was lovely and quiet during our stay. The condo is decorated well and has a nice layout. Our family of 5 was comfortable throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Airbnbs I ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable with beautiful Ocean views and access to the water.

Thomas was a great host. The place has an amazing view from the living room and balcony, overlooking the beach . The queen beds are excellent for kids. Everything was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this unit for your next trip to Myrtle Beach.

This place is beautiful, quiet, not busy (at least in early April), beach is clean, friendly neighborhood-if we return to this area we will try to obtain the same condo. Rebecca our host went so far above and beyond what was expected-when I arrived at the wrong place, when I asked about early check-in, and when I drove off with their parking pass. We have rented Airbnbs many times all over the US and Central America, and I can tell you Rebecca is by far the best host we have ever had. Her immediate response to some of my questions was priceless.

I absolutely loved our stay. Nick was very informative and gave clear instructions on everything! Will definitely book again
