Das rund 400 Jahre alte Bauernhaus, wurde 2019 Teilrenoviert. Dabei wurde gekonnt die rustikale Basis mit modernen Elementen kombiniert. Das Haus ist optimal für den Familienurlaub bis 6 Personen eingerichtet. Natürlich sind auch Gruppen, Paare und Einzelpersonen herzlich willkommen. Das Haus besticht mit einem grosszügigen Umschwung welcher sehr naturnah gehalten wird. Für Kinder sind im und ums Haus diverse Spielmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

We spent a week there with our three children during the Carnival holidays in 2020. The rustic farmhouse is beautifully and stylishly furnished and still has all modern comforts. The kitchen is brand new and has everything you need for dishes and utensils in excellent condition. The tiled stove creates a nice warmth, you can even use it to toast bread. The rooms are comfortably and lovingly furnished. There is a fireplace in the garden where we baked bread on the campfire. There is also enough wood. You have a great view of the valley and are well connected to the train, a perfect starting point for excursions in the area. Petra was super helpful with tips for carnival events etc. A highlight for the children was not only making the fire in the tiled stove, but also the yard next door with the dairy cows, where they were able to help Roland with milking and feeding calves. Thank you again for the wonderful vacation with you!”
Unser Hüsli liegt inmitten der Natur, ruhig und am Alpstein-Wanderweg Im Garten befindet sich eine gemütliche Sitzlounge, eine grosse Feuerstelle und die Gartendusche zur Abkühlung. Die herrliche Aussicht und das Alpen-Feeling lassen sich besonders gut vom Bänkli auf dem Vorplatz geniessen. Innen ist es schön und heimelig ausgebaut, mit Kachelofen und Holzkochherd, gemütlichem Wohnzimmer und grosszügigem Esstisch. Alles ist komplett eingerichtet und bereit für Gäste :)
What guests are saying:“Something very special and it starts when you walk up to the house. An old house in the middle of nature, with many beautiful details, you feel safe, it is cozy. Outside at the entrance there is a bench, a small table, a tree that provides shade, you sit and enjoy the view, and observe the surroundings, nature .... There is also a small lounge at the back of the building and a view too! We were there with our two kids for four days and they really enjoyed it, both in the surrounding area and inside. A piece of jewelry with very good care, thank you!”

The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

The old stove and the bathtub, the many small furnishing details and the surrounding nature invite you to pure relaxation. Tina was warm and accommodating and the accommodation was spotless. As a special highlight, we found the food prepared for us on our arrival and donated by Tina (bread, yogurt, butter, coffee, tea, milk, a little chocolate and even beer and wine).
