Monthly Rentals in Appin House

We spent a week in the property mid-April and spent a glorious week enjoying the surrounding area, we were very fortunate with the weather. The property is easy to find and sits along the end of a track, the road in is fine but a bit bumpy in places. The location sits amidst a few buildings all associated with the farm, there is plenty of parking space and an outdoor area with seating, this is all gated off so secure for pets and small children. The home is a good size with plenty of space and character with several photos and ornaments. We found the rooms all to be relaxing, the sitting room is a bit small with the tv awkwardly placed although we didn't really use it much. The beds were comfortable and warm. There isn't much in the immediate area, you could walk to Port Appin along the cycle route but most other places require a car. The owners were very helpful and in contact ahead of the visit and helped with a couple of queries. Would recommend.

Julie's place was very comfortable and warm, and with everything we needed. Location was great for a peaceful and relaxing break with good walks, beautiful views and watching the lambs gave us endless entertainment.

We really loved staying at Michael’s place! It’s a great deal for the price—private, clean, and in an absolutely gorgeous area. We rented a car for our trip and found the location very easy to find and a great jumping off point for our adventures in the Glencoe area. Michael was kind, funny, easygoing, and extremely responsive. He gave great recommendations for the surrounding area. He also has a beautiful, hilarious cat named Rabbit, whose sweet headbutts were the cherry on top of a perfect trip. Definitely hope to return in the near future!

Really great place. Has everything you need and in a great spot for hill walking. The location itself is very scenic right on the water. Would definitely recommend
