Monthly Rentals in Appleton-le-Moors

We had a family weekend here with 6 of us and 2 dogs. Ground floor bedroom was great for my elderly parents whilst we took the upstairs bedrooms - one of which has an ensuite loo . The big living room and adjoining dining room conservatory were great in an evening and we enjoyed sitting outside in the private courtyard in the sunshine. Kitchen is well equipped, ground floor bathroom lovely and clean with a shower with plenty of hot water. Bedrooms were comfortable. The village setting was lovely and peaceful with nice walks in the vicinity. Plenty of room for 6 of us and our two dogs. We would definitely recommend staying here, it's a real gem.

Great value for money. Walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. A lovely base for our day out at flamingoland. The cottage was well equipped. Would recommend.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sara for being a great host! This was a break from a very busy life and it provided everything and more. The cottage was super easy to find and parking was close to the cottage. We were provided with milk and some treats on arrival, thank you. We had everything that a kitchen should have.. We had meals at home and out.. There is so much to do here, but as we just wanted to chill, the cottage was the best setting to chill in! We watched our childhood movies, Superman on a very comfortable sofa.. sleeping was so lovely as the bed and duvet provided was of good quality. There is no shower, but this is the beauty of this place. We come here to escape, having a peaceful bubble bath with a skylight allowing light in is just giving spa vibes.. I hope you do not change this setting as it is a selling point! The shampoo, etc were so welcome! The cottage warms up so well! Glorious stay! We would love to return! Thank you. ❣️

Julie and Dicks’s place is a hidden gem! Lovely village and a very peaceful stay. If anyone needs a place of outdoor adventure, solitude, and quaintness, book immediately!
