There is no TV or internet, even our phone is an old rotary one. You will see that we have a good radio, and games and books to read, and plenty of things to do outside. Apartment is large (1400 sq. ft.) sunny, bright, set in a large meadow with expansive views of blueberry fields and surrounding hills of Hope/Appleton. Fully equipped for a comfortable stay or retreat. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families welcome. Comfortably sleeps 4. Note: Our well behaved dogs visit the barn downstairs from time to time.

Live comfortably while gaining easy access to all the cool adventures Mid-Coast Maine offers. Please note this is an older house with a basement sump pump. It is eco-friendly - I don't use pesticides. You may see harmless house spiders. It is NOT a good fit for those with severe dust or mold allergies.

The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
