Braine is a pleasant town with shops (bakery, delicatessen, restaurant, supermarket...) and also with the Abbey of Saint Yved, the Château de la Folie and the half-timbered house of the 15th century. Ideally located on the Soissons-Reims axis, 1.5 hours from Paris, you can visit the Chemin des Dames and its surroundings steeped in history, the Champagne vineyard, the cathedrals (Soissons, Laon, Reims).
