If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing weekend away this is the place! We had alot of bad weather while we were there but felt very safe having the basement to go to if we needed to in an emergency. This home was very warming and immaculate, we had everything we needed to cook and grill out. Beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. My 5 month old grandson was with us and we definitely appreciated the comfortable rocking chair in the living room. You can tell this home is loved well taken care of, Chris is very responsive to any questions we had! Thank you for sharing your home with us. The only thing i can think of that would have made it any better would be a hot tub on the back porch :)

Such amazing place to disappear to after a day of work or just goofing. Very private and quiet. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

We had an absolutely perfect 3 days and nights at this beautiful lakeside retreat—even with the rain! The cozy, well-stocked home was the ideal setting for two sisters and our kids to relax, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories. The views of the lake were stunning, and we loved curling up inside with board games, switch games, and s’mores around the fire pit while it rained. The host thought of everything: from comfy beds and a fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like extra blankets and plenty of games for the kids. When the rain let up, we explored the serene outdoor space and took in the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly the getaway we needed—quiet, clean, inviting, and filled with charm. Rain or shine, this place is magic. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was beautiful! It was perfect for a nice bachelorette weekend on the lake and only a short drive from the hiking trails in Bankhead! Steven was a great host and was very accommodating. The views of the lake were beautiful! Cannot recommend enough! Perfect!
