We really enjoyed our stay at Dan and Elaine’s, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Even though we were close to the road we did not hear any traffic (good double glazing) during the night. The bed was very comfy as well, so it completed our mini break. Even though we did not meet D & E they checked in a couple times to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again.

Our overnight stay in Devon at The Robin's Nest nestled in the idyllic hamlet of Humber was a delight to the senses. The property is bijou and perfectly formed. A welcome pack of cereals, biscuits and fresh milk were on the breakfast bar on arrival. There are facilities for coffee/tea making. A toaster and microwave for preparing breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean. There is also information of local amenities in the property. On arrival in the late afternoon after a long journey we were hungry and Emma advised us to try the The Elizabethan Inn in the next village of Luton. The meal there was exceptional. It is advisable to book however, we were fortunate that a table was available.

Lovely little cottage. Angela was very helpful and supportive with her contact regarding our stay. The house is lovely, has everything you could need. The kitchen is nice, open and modern. A home away from home. All items you could need to cook are there, a thoughtful host. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone considering the stay. The close proximity to Haldon forest was great, an 11 minute drive and so close to Dartmoor. Haytor was only a 19 minute drive. Such beautiful surroundings on the doorstep of Chudleigh. Thank you Angela. We loved it.

The photographs and description does not do the place justice. It is absolutely stunning. Unique in character and just simply amazing. The setting and views are beautiful. Highly recommended. Would not stay anywhere else now when visiting family in the area.
