A day like a gift (Welcoming you in the forest, Minjoo Mountain)

'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

The soft light coming through the window and the texture of the high-quality wood that stands out even more because of it are like the quiet floor of a hanok. Here, I want to share with you the precious items I have collected for a long time. The props, each with their own traditions and stories, will add a special meaning to this space. The old lighthouse staircase from the Czech Republic captures its own beauty and as you climb it, we feel like we are traveling at the same time as the past and the present. In addition, the harmony of the extremely Korean landscape, which is in harmony with the wooden pillars and tottaru unique to Hanok, has a deeper story over time. Share my story in this place where the traditional beauty of Hanok and the unique aesthetics of Korea meet to complete a new level of depth.

In the morning the sea can be seen in the distance and at night there are many stars. It has been 10 years since I moved to Jeju Island. We live with unparalleled satisfaction throughout our lives. Starting in 2019, we're building a new home in front of us. Just as our family is perfectly satisfied, we hope that all guests who come to our home will make a lot of comfortable, enjoyable, and happy memories. ^^

Starry private cabin (450 heights of Bongrae Mountain, breathtaking view, forest winery experience)

Yeongwol Bonglasan 450 is a private chalet with starlight pouring out. It is the only heavy wood structure single-family home on the property of 2000 pyeong, so the private feeling is attractive. It is a 15-minute drive from Yeongwol Station, so the access is good. At night, there are a lot of stars pouring in and the sound of birds that change every season. In the evening, light fires and outdoor barbecues are also available.(30,000 KRW for each additional cost) The interior is decorated with various props, paintings, and dalhurs collected from overseas travel. You can enjoy two private trails with 5,000 pyeong wineries and two private trails that run at 20,000 pyeong Imya.
