Great hosts very helpful. The home has everything you would need , its a proper little home lots of books and board games in the draws, comfy beds and good location near the beach and a 45 minute drive to windemere, 1 hour to scafell pike and has shops nearby

Fantastic stay in lovely cosy property. Stayed for 5 nights and hosted Christmas dinner for partner’s parents and sister. Everybody loved the property and its layout. Has a cosy lounge with wood burner and kitchen and bathroom are great sizes. Downstairs loo was a plus too! Great view, although was misty/wet weather when stayed so no walking achieved!

We booked a few days stay here in the Easter holidays so that we had a base to travel round our favourite place in England!! The first thing I noticed was the price, Tom did not do what others do and charge extortionate prices because of the holidays !! The cottage was perfect for us being quiet and out of the way of tourist areas but well within reach of places to visit! The cottage was absolutely spotless and packed full of every little thing you need especially when you have small children , from the front it looks small as you arrive but it is honestly like a tardis and the children loved exploring ( especially our 5 year old) who was impressed with the ‘secret bedroom,up the secret stairs’ haha it slept 5 of us more than comfortably and upon arriving it was truly amazing so thank you so much !! We will definitely be back 😁.Just to add,upon arriving home my daughter had left an important charger for her medical machine, I contacted Tom he found it immediately and posted it out!!
