Even on rainy days, the house offered a wealth of activities to keep us entertained, making it a true gem for families or groups seeking respite from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights of our trip was the easy access to the stunning fjord for swimming, offering a refreshing escape into nature. Additionally, we couldn't miss the nearby floating sauna, Fryd Askoy, which provided a unique and relaxing experience. The combination of wonderful views, the ability to explore the scenic surroundings, and the comfort of the house made our stay truly special. I highly recommend this holiday house for anyone looking to unwind in beautiful Norway. You won't be disappointed!

Olav's house is superb and with beautiful views of the fjord. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is large and very well-equipped. However, I informed Olav that there is progress to be made on cleaning. We arrived and the house was far from clean. I would have preferred to pay €100 more to pay for a cleaning service rather than relying on the cleanliness of the previous occupants. Olav is a novice at Airbnb, he will rectify this quickly. I would recommend her home despite this little black dot. Just be careful, the house is 35 minutes from Bergen. There is a bus 5 minutes from the house or you have to be transported.

A great place to stay if you're driving from Bergen to Stryn! 30min drive to Bergen city center. the apartment is on the second floor so please expect stairs. everything is cozy clean and warm in the apartment, a lot of greenery, well equipped kitchen and modern rooms. Irina is super welcoming, would love to come again.

My partner and I stayed at Eldrid's place for a long weekend and found it so cosy to stay in, with views of the mountains, the fire place and living room. The place is so beautiful and Eldrid welcomed us on arrival. The apartment is about 30 minutes walk to the centre, or an easy tram or bus ride. We really appreciated the fridge filled with eggs, cheese and milk, as well as the chocolates! We definitely would like to come back to do more exploring around Bergen.

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

Accommodation close to Bergen, about 15/20 minutes. Very large 3 bedroom house. We spent 4 nights there and we felt like home, 😍 it's really ideal and there is enough space, a large terrace brief than happiness!

Rented apartment for work at HVL. Therefore very central. Otherwise nice trip up Ulriken in walking distance from the apartment👍

Great home and location. Nearby supermarket had a good selection of many items. Fuel station next door is a straight forward self service. About 1 hours easy drive to Bergen. Nearest decent restaurants and takeaways about 30 mins away in an area which had a shopping centre. Very cosy and fantastic communications throughout Thank you.

Absolutely stunning place to be - the views over the lake are beautiful and the house is wonderful. Great for a large gathering - lots of space and lovely bedrooms.

We (2 adults, 3 children) had a couple of nice days in Asnake's house. We mainly went hiking, there are a couple of short trails (~5 km) within easy reach by car (15-20 minute ride); you find these trails on openstreetmap. Waterproof shoes (rubber boots) for younger children are recommended, as there is a lot of moor and the soil is drenched. Maybe this was due to a lot of rain during our stay, which unfortunately also kept us from swimming, although there is a nice bathing site in the vicinity (~3 km from the house, see pictures in the ad). Asnake is a very nice guy who showed us around and gave some tips for excursions. We really recommend the nearby Kilstraumen restaurant, which offers a splendid buffet on Sundays for a reasonable price and where you can rent small motorboats or kayaks to cruise through the fjords.

We absolutely loved this house and it made our trip so much more enjoyable! Our kids loved getting in the hot tub after exploring for the day. There is a waterfall a little ways behind the home that was fun to explore. The beds were insanely comfortable and overall everything felt spacious and cozy! I will say that I was a bit surprised at the walk to the house. I’m not sure why I was expecting a paved walkway that would be easy to carry your luggage on but it is definitely not that. Ha! It is very steep at the end and when carrying your luggage it feels like it is never ending. I would absolutely recommend you use the ATV service if you have anything more than carryon luggage.
