Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Aso District

It was a spectacular stay! The host is super responsive, helped us with taxi ordering and was super friendly and sweet! The place is stunningly decorated and the cafe and shop add to the atmosphere! Sauna was amazing! Everything was clean, BBQ was provided, as well as toiletries and kitchen equipment! Would recommend 100%!

The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

It was quiet and I could feel the atmosphere of Japan. I had a good time having a barbecue with my friends. Highly recommended for those looking for a well-maintained lodge feel

Definitely an unforgettable house! The wood aroma in the house, a fire that allows people to warm up, and the little knot knot that plays whisper.All make our hearts expansive. Very welcoming and friendly owners all made us feel right at home. Being able to stay in this beautiful house for three days and two nights and really don't pillar this trip. Thank you😃😃😃😃

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional house in Aso. The home was full of charm and character, with elegant Japanese details throughout. There was also a small Japanese garden that added a nice touch of tranquility to the atmosphere. The house was spotless and very well maintained. Everything felt thoughtful and welcoming, making it a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The location was excellent — very close to Mt. Aso, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and refreshing stay at Jonathan's for our small family! The cabin has a lot of charm and is well equipped for a few days. Our kids loved the chickens and sleeping on futons 😉 Jonathan is very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!!!

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!

Had a nice stay at the house. It was cold at night but the house is well insulated so we didn’t notice being cold inside. It’s well located to Kurosawa onsen which is only 5 minutes away.
