We had such a perfect weekend at the Old Forge which is cosy and full of history. We followed two of the walks from the folder and it was lovely visiting some local villages and pubs. Marianne is kind and thoughtful and offered to help when our dog was stung by a bee on a walk. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend and we felt very at home.

A perfect stay - a lovely space, well located for my needs coming in from the ferry at Harwich. Kerry was friendly and welcoming and the space had everything you'd need. I was very happy with it.

Colin and Linda were absolutely wonderful hosts! We stayed for an extended period while awaiting the completion of our house, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their communication was always prompt and helpful, making our long stay much smoother. What truly stood out was their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. When we found ourselves needing daycare for our dog, they stepped in to help us out, which was a huge relief! Their generosity and understanding were truly appreciated. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We highly recommend Colin and Linda to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming Airbnb experience. They made our transitional period so much easier. I made my booking last minute, literally 1 hour before leaving home. Camilla replied to my request to book promptly. The place was really lovely, cosy and peaceful, just what I needed and the pain au chocolate and the croissants were a nice touch. You can walk to the local Inn where the food is great and they are dog friendly. There is also a footpath that runs through Camilla’s property so you can just park the car and walk. I’ll definitely go back again.
