Bénédicte and Sébastien welcome you to this charming 2-star-rated house, located in the heart of the village, near the former butter market. There are numerous hiking routes to discover in the surrounding area, including the local 'Carneille en histoire' trail. A stopover village on the Vélo Francette cycle route, the gîte is Vélo Accueil–certified. It has a massage room that can be made available to you on request (an additional charge applies). The La Gine grocery shop is located 30 metres from the accommodation.

The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

In the heart of Suisse Normande, close to the Pont Erembourg rail bike, 10 km from Clécy, the capital of Suisse Normande, the gîte is located on the Suisse Normande GR route, the preferred GR route of the French in 2023, close to the Véloroute Francette, 50 km south of Caen; there are numerous hiking trails nearby, and the station on the Paris-Granville line is in Flers, 13 km away.
