Comprising a ground floor kitchen, living area, utility room, and 2 ensuite, large double bedrooms with views over the square and the Château. Free Wifi. A characterful home with exposed wall built from stones of the River Aude. Two minutes walk to a host of local shops/bars/restaurants and twice weekly market. Night market in summer. Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Tanmateix, la seva ubicació és ideal per a la pràctica del ciclisme, senderisme, golf i sobretot esquí, estan Arcalís a només 15 min, el telecabina de Pal a 5 min i el Funicamp (Granvalira) a 15 min.

The Borda de Costuix is located in the middle of the mountain, 4 km from Àreu, and at an altitude of 1723 meters. The cabin offers spectacular views of emblematic peaks such as Pica d'Estats or Monteixo. We live in a society where complexity has become a part of our lives. Time is passing, and we are moving forward. Basic things like tranquility and simplicity have been forgotten. However, here in this beautiful corner, you can listen to the silence.
