The Chiemsee beach is a 5-minute walk away. Outside the front door, you will find very well-developed cycling and hiking trails into the fields and moors. Spacy apartment near the Danube Valley

Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

In addition to the ideal location, the apartment scores points with family friendliness, new equipment and great views of the countryside with balcony. Ideal for 4 adults or a family. In the house we live with two lovely dogs. On site we charge the mandatory tourist tax in cash: persons from 16 years: 2 euros per night. Children (6- incl. 15): 1 Euro per night.

Der Bus ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Das Apartment befindet sich im ersten Stock. Das Gebäude wurde 2022 saniert und es befinden sich darin 5 Apartments.

The 40 square meter apartment has just been renovated. It is on the second floor directly next to the river Traun and includes a free parking spot right in front of the house. It is less than 10 minutes on foot to the Gmunden town square. You can swim in the calm river, start your hike straight from the house and in winter quickly reach various ski resorts by car (Kasberg 25 minutes, Feuerkogel 20 minutes, Gosau 50 minutes).
