Our cozy apartment (approx. 70 square meters) for up to 6 people is located in Ostrhauderfehn, in an old Fehn house. The fantastic property offers plenty of peace and relaxation. The in-house forest invites you to "forest bathing." The vacation rental is located in the front part of the house. The rear part is occupied by the hosts. Leer or Papenburg can be reached quickly. The North Sea or the Netherlands are just around the corner. The surroundings offer many activities or lakes.

New: quiet, bright and with a sauna!

We offer this special and comfortably furnished upper floor apartment, which was completely renovated in 2023. Ideal for two people, without children, without animals. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryer, shower and shampoo, and the kitchen even with a dishwasher. The infrared sauna offers pure relaxation. Within walking distance is a small forest with a pond, or you can hop on your bike / rental bike and discover the surroundings! Shopping is 1.5 km away.

Our historic property consists of a 120-year-old schoolhouse and an approx. 100-year-old town hall in the midst of untouched nature on a park-like property. In the old schoolhouse, the Alte Schule vacation home extends over 2 floors with a living space of approx. 140 square meters. In the annex of the old town hall is the guest wing with a wellness area on the first floor and the 2 apartments Samtmuschel (approx. 60 sqm) and Herzmuschel (approx. 50 sqm) on the second floor.

Hankhausen apartment with ecological aspects. Clay plaster and terracotta tiles form the basis for a cozy apartment. The apartment is on the upper floor. My partner and I live downstairs. The bathroom is equipped with a sauna and has an Asian touch. Non-smoking apartment. The first/second supermarket is only 1 km away. A parking space on the premises is available. At the moment, there is a construction site of a detached house opposite. There may be some impairments.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this romantic spot in nature. The beautifully appointed small apartment is ideal for two adults with or without a child. In addition to the fully equipped apartment, the small playground right outside the front door, the natural pond, the sauna and the fireplace can be used. Each by arrangement. The old half-timbered farmhouse with outbuildings is surrounded by a park-like property with forest. Sauna fee of €10,- is to be paid on site.

In the large, beautifully landscaped, natural garden, there is a barbecue and garden furniture to relax. A large, well-kept fish pond, located directly on the terrace invites you to relax. In summer to cool off or in winter to warm up, there's a wood-fired bathtub. Furthermore, a sauna with wood stove is available. From the garden you can find the approx. 80 kilometers long cycling trail on the Ems-Jade Canal. The canal is an anglers.

Cozy wooden house on the edge of the forest with sauna

On the shore of our natural pond is our cozy wooden house. It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place or just be passing through. You can use the garden and visit our chickens. If needed, you can borrow a bike from us and look at the beautiful surroundings. In the village, there is a first-class restaurant, a supermarket and a train station. From the train station, a train runs once an hour to picturesque Oldenburg. The journey takes only 15 minutes.
