Martine, the house, the decoration, the site, THE PLACE..wow!!! Its amazing!! This has been the most conecting, restful, peaceful and more special vacations for us! Martine is a super host, everything we needed and MORE!! She is 100/100!! The house is so beautiful, the landscape and the whole place just brought smiles in too our faces. Dont even hesitate about this secret place of peace and adventure!! We just loved it!! We will come back!

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

The cottage was very beautiful, warm and very well located. It was well organized and everything you needed was there. We appreciate the host allowing us to check in early. We recommend this cottage!

The house is nice and very comfortable, large enough to accommodate a family of 10 without being cramped. The windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful river view. The exterior is well maintained and the grounds are private. Everything is very clean and the house is fully equipped. Our favorites in addition to the view of the St. Lawrence: the fireplace and the piano. We'll be back!

A wonderful stay in Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs! The Rustik was perfect for our family of four, outdoor fire pit, privacy, great views of Lake Nairne and the surrounding landscape. Marie-Christine has ensured that our weekend remains marked in our memory!

We had a great time in this loft . It is very well equipped , quiet and very well decorated!

We had a pleasant stay. We went to the island for a family meeting so we did not enjoy the cottage as much as we would have liked. The views are extraordinary and it's really quiet. We will definitely go back to enjoy it especially as the chalet is perfect for hosting a lot of guests very comfortably. The hosts are really very friendly and proactive, all the good places to visit were shared with us before our arrival. The information provided by the hosts about the stay was very clear and complete, our stay went without stress and without any other necessary communication, which allowed us to enjoy our stay 100%. I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice location with exceptional views. We were disappointed and surprised to discover that the 3rd bedroom was not a closed bedroom and that it was only partitioned by curtains which was not ideal for privacy and to avoid the noises of the rest of the cottage. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay

Exceptional stay in winter in this very comfortable and warm cottage. The view of the Saint Lawrence is crazy and changes every day. Access may seem complicated but ultimately there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snow plow. Recommended for the geographic location! Amazing vacation!!! Thank you

Lovely relaxing place and very well maintained!

We had a pleasant stay in the accommodation. We particularly appreciated the stove and the armchairs facing the Saint Laurent. We would highly recommend it for visiting the area. It is located 30 minutes from Sainte-Catherine Bay where you can embark to watch whales.
