Awesome little place! Clean inside and walking distance to downtown restaurants and Barley Brown's brewpub. We stayed here for a weekend ski trip to Anthony Lakes, about an hour away and it was perfect for it. Cozy feeling, TVs in every room, great WiFi, and good water pressure in the shower. Jacob got back to me quickly with any questions and the place made for a good trip.

Teresa was great and we loved the house for a layover spot on our way to the coast. she even found a set of lost keys and held on to them until we passed through on the way home. for sure book again next year.

We totally enjoyed our time at this cottage! There were plenty of amenities! Kitchen was clean! Bathroom was clean! The bed was very comfortable! my only complaint about the bed was that it was very squeaky, so it woke up our infant every time we moved. But the rocking chair was such a nice amenity to have while traveling with a baby! Our toddlers LOVED the toys/coloring/puzzles/board games that were provided in the TV console! the smore makings were a nice touch! The fenced yard accommodated our dog perfectly! She ran to her hearts content! They provided a water bowl, dog door to the yard and some treats! The host was so responsive and kind!! answered my questions right away! We would definitely stay at her cottage again and I would recommend her place! she had a nice guest book available with local recommendations, pictures of restaurant menus (super helpful), and other local activities! Check in and check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow! thank you hosting us! ?

Stayed one night to break up a long road trip. Not far off the freeway so really convenient. Had everything we needed!

My husband, baby and I rolled into town, and the smell of fresh warm bread hit us as soon as we entered the house. What a wonderful welcome! The house was clean and quaint, we enjoyed walking to dinner a few blocks away. Would absolutely stay here again.

The Scandinavian West Hall is a dream. Four of us were traveling through Oregon's small eastern towns, and were lucky enough to spot this place on our route. It's difficult to describe, and while the pictures are accurate, they do not do it justice. It was cozy and grand. A few specifics. The beds are very comfortable, which is often a detail overlooked at most properties. Tasheena and her team (shoutout, Keely!) are very responsive and are prepared to do what it takes to ensure guests have what they need. North Powder is sleepy (especially so during Christmas), so make plans in Baker City, at Hot Lake Springs, and Anthony Lakes. There is a large table for games and meals. If you plan to cook in, bring your favorite pot and pan. Highly recommend. Vow to return.

Clean , easy to find, and responsive hosts. Wasn't sure where to park but a quick call to the hosts helped us out.

Great location, short drive from downtown, right next door to golf course that does cross country skiing in the winter. The place itself had everything we needed for two people. Tasheena was super accommodating and helpful. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at the school house. Having so many bathrooms was really nice, as we stayed here with several families. There was plenty of space for people to spread out. We were ~35 minutes from Anthony Lakes, so it was a close drive to the mountain. Beautiful surroundings and mountain views too! Thanks for a great stay!

From the first communication all the way through checkout, our stay here was a delight. The hosts thought of everything and even had a loaf of fresh-baked bread awaiting us on our arrival! This location is perfect for exploring historic downtown Baker City, and the loft itself is such an incredible retreat at the end of the day that we wish we’d been able to stay longer. Lovely ambiance in the living area, a well-appointed kitchen, sparkling clean bathrooms with a rain shower in the master bath, and a great mattress on the bed. Worth every penny (and then some)!
