Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

Welcome to our idyllic farmhouse on beautiful Kveøya, Kvæfjord. «Magnusheim» (meaning home of Magnus) is originally from 1850 and much of the house is kept in its original style. Situated close to both the sea and the mountains, the area offers loads of possible excursions. During winter you might see the northern lights just outside the door. And after a day out, you can enjoy your coffee watching the amazing scenes of the gateway to the famous Lofoten and Vesterålen area.

My place is close to great views, the beach, art and culture, and restaurants and eating places. You'll love my place because in the middle of the region Vesterålen, Lofoten and Harstad,, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Whether you want to stay close to the ocean, go fishing in our beautiful fjord, walk in the mountains or simply stay in one with nature, the possibility is here. There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. We have boat and bikes for rent.
