Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ballarat Central

We stayed here as a family of four while our teenage sons competed in a rowing regatta at Lake Wendouree, and it was a great choice. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We picked this house becvause of the BBQ area and the pool. The pool was ideal—warm thanks to the solar heating and well-maintained. Being indoors, we could use it despite Ballarat’s cooler evenings. An ideal way to relax and recover after a long day at the regatta. Overall, the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we'd happily stay here again.

Narelle is a great host. The house is beautiful - so clean, lovely new kitchen and bathroom (water pressure is amazing) and in a great location so close to everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful outdoor view and clean house. Lots of kangaroos are in/around the property, and they visit occasionally. We visited in Feb and the weekend was cold and didn't do many outdoor things but they have a fireplace outdoors in case if needed. It's nice and surely will visit in future if get a chance.

Enjoyed our stay, nice and clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The yard was secure for our dog and carport was great for shelter from the rain and sun. The driveway is quite narrow which seems to go with the territory in Ballarat. We enjoyed being close enough to town to walk in most days. Thanks.

Best location ever. everywhere i wanted to go was within 15 mins of the airbnb. whole house was so beautiful and it had everything i needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Cindy's beautiful property with the lovely large backyard. Would highly recommend this spot with nearby cafes and easy drive to town. The early check in and late check out is very unique and generous.

Andreana and Harry’s place was so beautiful! It was the perfect place for my wedding weekend, and the pictures were absolutely stunning that we took out in the garden and inside the treehouse-like interior. It was a stunning and relaxing retreat away. We will for sure want to visit in a year’s time to celebrate!

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

What a fantastic weekend! Kurt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The place was cosy and fantastic, and a perfect fit for the family. The kids fell in love with it straight away, and Kurt went out of the way to include them and make sure they were comfortable. Admittedly the chocolates on arrival is a sure way to get the kids on board... I cannot fault the place, the location, or Kurt himself in any way. Was just an amazing weekend in every possible way. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and you have such an incredible place.

We loved our weekend getaway at the Daylesford Bush Retreat! The house was neat and clean with everything you need to relax. Really nice bathroom too, which is important to us 😉. Untouched bushland all around to explore and only 8 min drive into town make this a place we’ll come back to, thanks!

We had a great weekend at Ella’s place. The unique A frame design was a lot of fun for our 4 yo. The house was tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The house is set on a lovely property with plenty of space, including a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. Ella was super responsive for our last minute getaway and we would love to return again in the future.

I could not recommend James’ place more highly. The location is incredible, a little slice of pristine nature - so close to Melbourne but feels like you are hours from civilisation. The house and the camping areas were even better than we had expected. Thanks James

An incredibly peaceful and comfortable place to stay for my intense week of fieldwork - each morning I woke feeling refreshed and each evening I was able to unwind with ease.

Such a lovely secluded place in beautiful Bushland. There are lots of nice hikes around in the national park close by. The house was beautiful and comfortable and we had a great time walking and relaxing by the fire. Lots of beautiful birds and kangaroos. Thank you :)

I can’t recommend Hepbird House highly enough. When we walked in it exceeded our expectations - it has such a warm homely feel from the moment you open the door. It was well equipped with everything we needed - games, kitchen utensils, bedding and even a lovely welcome gift. It was beautifully clean, smelt amazing and ever so peaceful. Jesse’s communication was friendly and welcoming. Plus we loved exploring the house and finding the birds in each space. Thank you so much Jesse for an amazing stay. We will be back!
