Monthly Rentals in Ballyness

A wonderful weekend for my family and I. Caitriona and her family couldn’t have been more helpful. We could have chatted to Fionnula for hours as she had so much knowledge of everything around Annagry. Cottage is fully stocked and so cosy and warm. Central location makes it ideal for shops, restaurants and pubs. Home made jams, honey and scones on arrival got the weekend off to a flyer and everything just got better. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the best time at the cottage during the Easter weekend! The hosts have made an incredible job renovating an old cottage in the architectural tradition of the area, while incorporating modern touches such as extremely good insulation, which is rare enough to be mentioned. Everything is done with taste, and you can see this cottage has been rebuilt with love. We weren't lucky weather-wise, with strong rain and winds, but the house was so comfortable to stay in, it was our cosy little corner between walks. The location of the cottage was also perfect: easy access to Dungloe and the seafront area of Donegal, while being close enough to inland gems like the Glenveagh National park. I don't think there are any easy trails that could be done walking from the house, but in 10 min by car you can get to many places of interest. Lastly, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thank you again for allowing us to stay with my family in this incredible location!

Beautiful cottage. Well presented and had all amenities. Excellent hosts, who left wine and cake on arrival. Idyllic location with beautiful grounds and surrounding location. Excellent communication from Kathleen. We felt right at home and hope to return soon.
