We had al lovely time at Amila’s place. The place is huge, very nice for kids, lots of room to play. Amila is extremely friendly and helpful, drove us around a couple of times and taught us everything about his garden. His knowledge of plants and fruits is remarkable. We were treated to fresh fruits daily and got a tour of his extensive garden. It is a little out of town, although close to the Nine Arches Bridge, so you could walk it if you like. Because we have kids we asked Amila to drop us off and pick us up. Highly recommend!

I spent 3 nights at the White Square Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place in a beautiful house not far away from town (accessible by bus). The family is extremely friendly and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They cook the best food that I have tried in my 7 months in Sri Lanka ! On top of the delicious food, I really enjoyed the balcony from which you can see peacocks, mangoose and grizzled giant squirrels ! I will definitely stay with Chandana's family again :)

This place was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. From the second you arrive its like staying with family. the beds are comfortable the rooms spacious, air con and hot water. The very low room rate made us think there would be something wrong. Quite the opposite, Bhagya should simply be charging more. The dinner the family cooked for us was incredible and to see the safari/yala at the North end of the park, away from the crowds was the best experience we could have hoped for. there's only 15 safari 4x4s in the north opposed to 300 vehicles in the south. Raise your prices Bhagya this is the best product in Sri Lanka

Amazing place! A running tea plantation from the 1900s, located 1hr away from Kandy. Great base to explore the tea region.

Big and delicious breakfast! The room was clean and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner suggested us places to visit and organized a tuk tuk to the tea factory, little Adams Peak and to the waterfall. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi connection inside the rooms.

I can really recommend staying here. Danushka and colleagues went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and worthwhile. I was sick when I arrived and the staff helped me a lot with that, they even went into town to get me the things I needed to get better and they helped me to see a doctor. It was a very comfortable bed and a quiet place to stay. it was very clean and the food was yummy. Thank-you!

This is a great place to stay in the Ella area. It’s a bit outside the center of the town (which we liked because the town was quite busy), but a short and very cheap tuk tuk ride to the town so it was very easy to go for meals. The host was extremely helpful with ordering us a tuk tuk every time we needed one. We could walk to nine arch bridge and the little Adams peak trailhead which was nice. The host also offered breakfast in our room for a small fee. The main reason we booked this place was for the stunning deck/lounge net/view and it did not disappoint - the view was incredible. The WiFi was also strong which is great because I was working. Highly recommend! You will have to go up about 20 steep and narrow stairs to get to the accommodation.

i stayed only one night here, nice place,host is keeping house and outside areas as very clean. i enjoyed the breakfast it was so authentic and delicious it is located in near to beatiful ella railway station,i could see beatiful view of the ella railway area from this house. it was very helpful to me take good pictures and videos. I would recommend staying at this place to people who are like to stay quiet and cosy

If you’re looking for an adventurous and unique place to stay, this is the one! The location is beautiful in a really peaceful spot, right next to a stunning waterfall and not far from town. Communication was excellent and the hosts were so kind and welcoming! The in-house food wasn’t the best but it’s easy to get into town if you’re looking for something less basic. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
