Beautiful view of mountain and lake. They were very kind and picked us up when we had trouble finding the location. Super nice and responded quickly to our needs! Good kind people.

We felt extremely comfortable with the boys at Black Wood. They were always quick to reach and helpful. What we might have known better in advance is that the accommodation is very remote and difficult to reach for a normal driver as a suitable car is needed for the road. However, the boys drive you up to the main road at all times and pick you up again.

Stayed in this beautiful place the 2nd time and next my visit to Ubud would love to book it again :) I think this is enough to understand how I really loved this place. It’s just amazing!

Loved the unique stay! Flight simulator was not working while we were there but other than that everything was great! We were able to walk to a lot of local things as well.

"Staying here felt like coming home after years away. Ibu treated me like family—warm, friendly, and full of hospitality. She made sure I was comfortable, even giving me extra blankets at night because she knew it would get cold. When I went out for dinner without cash, she kindly lent me some. They even allowed me to bring my cats, which meant a lot to me. Everything was nearly perfect—just a little more attention to cleaning under the bed would have made it flawless."

I arrived exhausted and thought I'd booked the wrong place - upon waking up I realised I was in absolute paradise ❤️🙏🏻 This place is one of the most amazing places I've stayed - right in the middle of Ubud - a proper taste of nature. amazing staff, pool, garden, peaceful, some local animals in the trees very cool. definitely recommend if you want a quality experience of Ubud.

this place is epic...such amazing views, and an insanely cute little concept. the fire is magic, and being able to open the wall and wake up to sunset is a memory to carry for ages. it's rustic and no t so easy to get to and there are flies, but...it's all part of the adventure. just remember to bring a speaker for music and some entertainment to enhance the visuals of the epic sunset.

It’s the second time I stay at Gede’s place for a good reason - the house and the area are simply wonderful. Recommended for everybody who wants to experience the real Bali.

Great location! Peaceful and surrounded by nature and no traffic. Close to town. Beautiful accomodation, the garden was so special and the pool was lovely. Very friendly host. There were lots of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat which made my stay even more special. I appreciate the transparency about the construction going on in the area. Even though there was some noise, all the workers were very friendly and I never felt like my privacy was compromised. I will definitely come back again!

When travelling to Ubud I wanted to feel lost in a jungle surrounded by peace and nature… this villa was exactly that. Such a beautiful location, the build of the villa was also stunning. Wayan was an incredible host, free fresh coconut every day, as well as breakfast which was made fresh every day. I wish I was still there.

Probably our most beautiful place to stay in Bali so far. The bungalow looked even better in person than in the pictures. Anna and Alex were very accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home upon arrival. They were also able to help us quickly with all the questions. Another clear recommendation is the food at the resort. Both traditional Balinese dishes, as well as the pizza evening, very very delicious. Those who like to go diving are also very well taken care of here. For a great price, you can take very nice dives here in good accompaniment. All in all a clear recommendation and certainly also a highlight of our honeymoon.

Made was fantastic!! The place was exactly as described. He was super responsive and helped with our Sunrise tour and transpiration back to South Bali. Highly recommend!!
