The house was gorgeous....design, surroundings, furnishings all perfect. While the pictures on Airbnb looked great, they weren't able to capture the full beauty of the house and the setting. There were several, very spacious and beautifully furnished outdoor areas to enjoy --perfect for swimming, watching the sunsets, dining and just relaxing whether alone or as a group. Kitchen was large, stylish and well-equipped , as were the other areas of the house. Helen, Paul and Fiona were very helpful, pleasant and responsive. We loved the location...needed a car, but very close to great beaches and restaurants, and we did some walking around the neighborhood which was pleasant. We would defiinitely stay here again. One suggestion: the Master Bedroom which is huge and beautifully furnished with wonderful views and an incredible bathroom needs an additional A/C unit I think. I like to sleep cool and the room did not get cool enough for me. The other bedrooms were fine.

Richard is a super host, he’s communication was exceptional. The space is to view for, a view of the beach and only 7 minutes drive to Sandy Lane and the shops of Holetown. Book this and treat yourself to peace and tranquility.

Beachy Head villa & grounds are spacious, comfortable & easy living, with everything our extended family needed for a Caribbean holiday. The cottage provided a lovely peaceful getaway for adults with no children! The infinity pool was used before breakfast & dinner every day! We highly recommend a sunset massage on either patio! Michaels assistant, Sandra, went above & beyond to make our arrival, stay & departure smooth, enjoyable, & easy: arranging car rentals to facilitate families arriving & departing on the same days but at different times; securing beach items ready for our arrival. The housekeeper & grounds men kept everything spic & span. All the staff were helpful & knowledgeable. Beachy Head villa & cottage are perfect for large groups who enjoy: a simple lifestyle & pleasures; time together but with space to call your own; quiet surroundings, except for the sound of the ocean & the wind in the palm trees; easy access to the airport, amenities & beaches. Our stay at Buttsbury House was absolutely incredible! With 10 of us in the group, the house provided the perfect balance of private retreats and wonderful common spaces to relax, cook, dine, and enjoy time together. The setting is peaceful and truly feels like a private oasis, making it easy to unwind and soak in the beauty of Barbados. The pool was fantastic—perfect for cooling off during the day or enjoying a quiet evening swim. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing staff, especially Keen, the housekeeper, who made us feel welcome and cared for. Every detail of the home was designed for comfort, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Buttsbury House and can’t wait to return!

We loved are stay at Sam’s ..beautiful view and very comfy and spacious ..Sam is very responsive and felt very at home here …(just one thing an airer would have been good) my kids couldn’t be bothered to walk to washing line so wet boardies everywhere 😂

Don Mar House was spacious and bright. There were good breezes passing through the house because of its closeness to the ocean. The air conditioning worked well but we found that we didn’t need it most nights because of the breezes. We loved our stay here because the kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. The washer & dryer worked well and there was plenty of space to hang up laundry. The two balconies added to our stay because they gave us wonderful shade in the morning and afternoon to enjoy our coffees and relax. There was comfortable furniture in both locations. We especially enjoyed the vistas on the front porch. The grounds of the Glitter Bay Resort across the street had well manicured gardens/trees where we could view the sunset. This location was a major asset and fit our needs well. We liked to walk as much as we could and use public transportation. There is a steady stream of buses going in both directions.

Jana is a perfect Airbnb host. She is accommodating and very excited to have you. Her house is wonderful. If visiting Barbados again I would def try to stay in the same house again.

My family stayed for only three nights at Prospect House and it was more than comfortable for us. A major highlight was Sam who was very quick to respond to any question or concern via text, call, or in person! We felt right at home here and were sad to leave - on our last morning we were graced with a visit from a family of Green Monkeys in the backyard - so cool to have nature so close to the house. We loved the security of locking the front gate up at night and when we left for the day. The location was convenient to get to/from the airport as well as all the great restaurants on the west side. My recent stay was of fantastic! The property boasts a breathtaking view that left me in awe every morning. The location couldn't have been more convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms provided the perfect retreat after a day of adventure, only thing is the double bed are pretty small. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining the property's cleanliness. What truly made my stay memorable was the hospitality of the host. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on. While the beach near the property was rocky, I didn't mind exploring other nearby beaches, which offered pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch accommodation

Chris was a great host, very welcoming and responsive throughout our stay and was kind enough to accommodate our request on the last day. Place is exactly as per the photos, clean+had all the necessary items to make it a comfortable stay. We loved the fact that, although we were six adults, the space never felt small — loved the 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate showers + each room had a little en-suite vibe (working sink + mirror). The patio was spacious: the best hangout spot. Beautiful stretch of beach: very peaceful. Beach chairs were useful but very old, and some broken. The only downside of our stay, was that the six of us got eaten alive by the amount of mosquitoes/sand flies/no see-ums (not quite sure what it was) but in my 12 years of coming to Barbados (always around the same time) never had so many bites. No mosquito nets in the home. Reco: Highly recommend using mosquito repellent to avoid the pain. Overall would recommend this space for a great stay!

The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures near Crown Beach. The house has seven beds and three bathrooms. 3 bedrooms are away from the living room so you can spend time in the evening with a drinks, music or TV without any embarrassment. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning, even the living room, dining room and hallway as well. 10 minutes taxi from the airport. I was in Barbados for the fourth time and it was the best choice when it comes to houses. You can even get to the Bridgestone center by public transport for $2 per person, but buses can run quite infrequently. Tje best solution is to rent a car if you want to explore the island. I definitely recommend for two or three families and a group of friends. If we come back to Barbados for the 5th time we will definitely rent this house again.

This house was beautiful in every aspect especially the lush garden with immaculate landscaping offeronh an oasis of private paradise! Pictures doesn't do it justice, it is much more beautiful than described. Stacey was amazing & very attentive to our every need. We were a party of 6 bit this home can comfortably accommodate more. Barbados is typically veru hot but house was nice & airy with adequate shading and fans thtoughout thr home. All bedrooms had air-conditioning which was all functioning to mac capacity and offered great sleeping comfort. Home was very clean & loved the ample books for leisurely reading and board games for family fun. Home close to beach, restaurants & amazing fish market where all in a 15min walk. We had an amazing time and will definitely look to rent this home again when back in Barbados. Thank you Jan & Stacey for your wonderful hospitality & making our trip so enjoyable!

We loved every moment of our stay at Bairds View Villa. It’s a perfect location on the west coast if you’re looking for a quieter stay, right between Speightstown and Holetown with a bus stop at the end of the road for easy travel. Thunder bay beach at the end of the road is beautiful and has great local food/drinks. We hired a car for half of our stay to help us get around the island and explore but if you’re just looking to go to Bridgetown or along the west coast a car is not a must have as the buses are frequent. Yunus was easy to contact prior to arrival and very responsive. John the villa manager was a wonderful host and so helpful, he had good recommendations prior to check in and offered to do grocery shopping for us at no extra cost which was a lovely gesture. We would recommend Bairds View to everyone and can’t wait to hopefully return one day in the future. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Michele’s Villa. The beach (which is beautiful and wasn’t overcrowded during our stay) is a few minutes walk away and use of the hotel loungers was a bonus. Very easy to use the local buses to hop around the island but we did find our car useful. The villa itself had everything we needed and more. It was comfortable, clean and felt private. The plunge pool was great for hot days! Property bit dated but didn’t take away from our stay. Special thanks to Mavis for looking after us with housekeeping 2x weekly!

We were 3 couples in our 60's staying Kameya. The house is spacious and very clean. Joanna and Peter were great hosts. Any questions were responded to promptly. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. Linens and towels were in good shape as well as bathrooms. The pool was very nice and a good temperature. The hot tub is also a nice add. We were greeted by a large family of green monkey's most mornings. Generally, it is peaceful. Some barking dogs but that is the case most anywhere on the island. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. There is a Rubis gas station within walking distance if you need to stock up on small items. I prefer Massey's in Holetown for groceries. It is more expensive then Jordan's but much better stocked. The Sea Shed is a great place to dine and is also within walking distance. I suggest a catarmaran cruise with Silver Moon as well. I would recommend this property for families or couples. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice place, and huge! Secluded, quiet, and very responsive host. There is a trail behind on the coast line you can see people but they are very far away. Pool is amazing, covered porch is great for those who want shade and pool gets sun all day. Pool has 3 areas: a shallow sloping area good for kids, a medium (chest level) area and, a deep area. Don't expect to have much around close by, car is almost a must, closest store is a very limited local store with minimal supplies (5-10 min away), major grocery store (15-20 min). You may see a few millipedes walking around remember your in the islands version of the sticks, and the windows don't have screens so you may get some flies but keep things clean and you will have no issues. Make sure to get some bottled water when getting supplies, host had bunch for us on arrival. He was honest and said that the water should be potable but just in case he recommended drinking bottled, we decided not to chance it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect, just a short 5 min walk from the shark hole in St Philip. About a 15 min drive from the airport. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. Our housekeeper Nikita was incredibly welcoming and provided us with great recommendations for things to do in the area. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare some of our meals, and the outdoor patio/pool area was a lovely spot to enjoy our morning coffee. We all took advantage of the pool, which was a welcome relief from the heat! The property is well maintained and looks picturesque! The bedrooms all have ensuites so no fights for the bathroom, plus there’s a 1/2 bathroom on the main level. Beds and pillows very comfy. Michael is a very responsive host. He responded quickly to any of our needs. If we ever come back to Barbados, this air bnb is definitely our spot!

The villa was a great for our family. Lots of room for cribs . Kitchen was well supplied with lots of glasses , plates ,bowls and cooking utensils. Monkey shows in the morning were entertaining for us all. Outdoor dining area was large and comfortable . Lots of outdoor furniture variety. Pool was just the right size . Lots of micro fiber beach towels that were very useful for taking to the beach. The beach club access was a huge advantage. We spent many days at the beach club watching the sun go down. Grocery stores are close, within walking distance. Bus service is fun and efficient for visiting other beaches . The local contact Sandy was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on places to go. We would choose this Villa again if we go back.
