Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Please note there is a 1€ tourist tax per person for the first 3 nights to be paid cash upon arrival.

Perfect accommodation for romantic couples, families with children with their dogs. Perfect place to relax but also suitable for guests who like active holiday with many exiting trekking, canyoning, mtb and horse riding excursions. Nice panoramic pool and view on the entire valley. The Painter's House

The guest house is surrounded by the garden: it is a quiet and romantic place. Tastefully furnished and featuring many of my paintings, it has everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. It is surrounded by fruit trees, olive trees, pine trees, and many flowers. You can take beautiful walks or admire the surrounding countryside in peace. The beautiful city of Lucca is 3 km away: it is easily accessible by car, bicycle and bus.
